A comment from Clay, April 16, 2012

The facts are that BLM and USFS has been ready for 12 years to implement a species designate for Bigfoot. The private timber companies have thus far won the fight to not include Bigfoot in the endangered species act but that will soon change. According to current status of the act Bigfoot will be included in the ESA because it needs several hundred miles per creature to exist. I too have seen the maps in the event this comes to pass. Everything west of the Cascades and much of the Rockies will be in the scope for protection. If Bigfoot is shown to be real well we can kiss the lumber industry goodbye. A small bird like the snowy plover or spotted owl did it so just think what Bigfoot would do. Under no circumstance would government not close huge tracks of land to preserve their habitat. To let them go without protection is not possible. The majority of americans would demand they be provided protection. (I’ve not changed errors of original comment.)
