Back around 1983 or so I was setting up a business in Ashland and had to make a trip to Glendale and the Wolf creek area. My partner and I were driving there and we were in the area of Jump Off Joe creek and I saw something right off the road (I-5). It was odd, tall, and I could smell musk coming in the window. I then got a good look as we passed and it was what I would say was a large animal walking on two feet about 10 feet tall. I told my partner to stop and we got out of the car and walked back about 100 yards. We could smell musk and then saw a a big hairy animal take off and run up the creek. It took the animal, or what I thought was a big foot, no time to run up the hill. I clearly saw and smelled what I believe to be Bigfoot there.

Anonymous from Kansas, I know eastern Kansas well. I lived there from the fourth grade until I was 24. My dad was in the Army stationed at Fort Riley. Bigfoot has been seen in Kansas. They travel along rivers, even swimming.
We left Kansas in 1969 and have lived in Oregon since. Thanks for commenting.

Every now and then people report seeing bigfoot near places where people camp. I believe the bigfoot has very good smell and can locate food from far away. We camped out for one week in August 2012 in the area known as Buck Creek south of Powers,Oregon in the Siskiyou Forest. On Wednesday of the week the family next to us came over and talked with us. They said they had felt that someone or something was watching them near the creek. Both the parents said they felt a" presence of something". We had no such feelings till Thursday evening. We heard what sounded like something heavy and large walking around the campground just inside the thick treeline . It would stop long enough to hear the sound of wood being beat on something. Then the sound of brush snapping again as it walked again. On Saturday morning at 2AM we were awakened by a cry, scream like sound from the forest. Also we woke to a terrible smell in the air like rotten eggs. We were so concerned and very uneasy so we packed up along with the other family and left the campground. When we reached Powers we reported the strange event to the regional forest service office that is in town. They seem to be completely stumped on what it might have been at the camp. We did ask the ranger if anyone had reported anything strange happening up there . The ranger said and I quote: Yes we have had reports of this type but never found anything out of place. He did tell us he had seen something in the area in 2009 but really couldn't comment on it.

To comment beginning: Every now and then. This is not too far from where the Emery team observed and their trail cam snapped photos of the one-eyed bigfoot they named Big Clyde. Thank you for the comment. LNP
