About the Editors: Linda Newton-Perry and Christopher Perry

The Perrys have lived in Oregon since 1969 and consider it their home. They both had a hand in writing their Viking Age Novel, FORCED BLOOD THE NORSEMAN. They have been published in several magazines: OREGON, OREGON COAST, PROPELLER and more. For a short time they owned part interest in their local weekly newspaper. Linda Newton-Perry wrote for three newspapers a bigfoot column lasting three plus years. AND then this site has been published by the Perrys since 2009. Can't forget- the couple has also published several children's bigfoot books, one or two of interest to adults as well.

Number 5 Reading from Bigfoot Premise by Linda Newton-Perry

Newspaper Column, A Matter of Time

It has been a sad week for us; we heard from Buck Hamilton that Hank Parchell died in November. Parchell was one of the ESP Team members that observed a bigfoot, early morning August 8, 2010. We are terribly sorry to hear of his death, and will miss his lively and informative comments on our online bigfoot magazine, Bigfoot Ballyhoo.

He had not commented for several months, which is true of the other two members of the team, Bill Emery and Cole Saxton. Buck Hamilton, mentioned above, has also observed a bigfoot (I believe, but could be wrong). I know his wife and daughter have seen the animal. They saw the animal while camping at Sru Lake, Oregon. (The ESP Team showed them their “clear photos” of the bigfoot that their trail cam snapped Aug. 8, 2010.)

I’ve been reading online excerpts from the blog Bigfoot Premise and came across the information on the Hamilton family at Sru Lake. On a video, I asked the family about the photos of the ESP Team, how clear they were etcetera. Buck Hamilton commented on Ballyhoo, explaining the photos were clear and the animal appeared to be the same one that his family had observed on their camping trip. In this comment, he mentioned Hank Parchell’s death.

So what will the Team call itself now, since the “P” in ESP Team is no longer with them? One person asked would it be the EP Team? I don’t know what the Team will be called now. We do know that there is another member of the team, last name beginning with O.

Bigfoot opportunists/rogues from Russia put together a hoax last week. A video circulating on Youtube showed a bigfoot in a cage and another video showed a bigfoot standing over a bloody sheep in a snowy field. It was explained that the hoax was done in hopes of drawing people to a zoo to observe the hoaxed animal. The money charged to see the animal was to be used for an orphans’ charity.

I’m looking forward to watching the second year of the TV series, Finding Bigfoot (Sunday nights, Animal Planet). One would think if they’d “found” the animal, we’d all have heard about it by now. But, don’t be so quick to believe that. Why? Well, look how long it is taking for the ESP Team to present its findings and photos.

Until next week, Linda Newton-Perry

Tiny Bigfoots

How many tiny bigfoots do you see playing in this photo?
(Click the photo for larger view.)

Answer: Puzzle
Below is the answer to how many tiny bigfoots in the photo above, but you have to solve the math.

20 bigfoots are playing; three went home for lunch which leaves__. Seven decide to leave together, jump on their skateboards and get ice creams, which now leaves__. One bigfoot gets hot and sits under a tree to cool off, out of this photo, which leaves__. Two run to play with another group of bigfoots, which leaves__. One more leaves because his grandma is calling him, she needs him to help her, and that leaves__. One more bigfoot leaves to get a drink of cool water from a near creek. Now we have this number left __ which is the answer to how many bigfoots are in the photo above.

Announcement: ESP Team Member Hank Parchell Dead

Wednesday, December 28, 2011

Thank you, Buck.

Buck has left a new comment on your post "Hamiltons, please tell us how clear and sharp the ...":

I only hope I am doing the right thing by commenting to the Emery photos we were shown. The four photos of the animal Emery has called Clyde are excellent in quality. Three of them are front shots of the creature and the 4th (not as clear) is a back shot of it walking away from a downed white cedar log into the deep cover of trees.

There is no doubt in my family's mind that the creature in the photos is the same animal that was watching my daughter and wife from behind a big tree at the lake. The height and build of it are exact to the animal we encountered. At the time of the encounter my wife did not see the animal was missing one of its eyes.

Emery showed me the photos shortly after they were took. The details of the animal's build are very large compared to a large man. The color of the animal is the same dark brown - black.

Saxton and Emery were the only two who ever believed our family's sighting as real. We have never went back to the lake because of issues my daughter now has with fear.  Dr. calls it PTSD. Bill has kept in contact with us and we believe his course with the photos are the right way to document this animal.

We have had no contact with the forest service whatsoever since that day we reported it. We have however been pestered by two people from California who found out our phone number and tried to get us to give our story to them for money.

I can't and will not divulge what Bill is doing as many want to make trouble for him.

We are also saddened by the recent loss of Hank . He was a real nice fellow and will be remembered as a true friend to our family. I wish people would quit being so ugly and mean when it comes to my family and Emery, Saxton. They are trying to do the right thing without all the negativity that comes from different groups of people.

Bill does not want the photos to become another "what is it ,or who is it" like the Patterson film did and still is to this day! I'm sure Bill will do the right thing with you Mrs.Perry when he has gotten everything he needs to do with the custody of the photos in the absolute chain of command so people can't say he did something to them.

Hank is one of the members of the ESP Team. ... LNP

Talk about your sighting.

Here's where the five bigfoot faces are in the tree puzzle.

Let's make 'talking bigfoot' commonplace.

A word from Penelope.

Penelope wants everyone to know that nothing positive on the bigfoot front has presented itself this last week. She adds, “As far as I know, anyway.” She also said it is too bad that there has not been anymore news or sightings of the limping bigfoot from around Scottsburg, Elkton areas (Oregon). She enjoyed news of the animal, but then, she didn’t know whether to believe it or not.

(That’s a skeptic for you!)

Answer to Comment

Comment, more or less: You surely don't expect a breakthrough bigfoot announcement on your site, do you?

Answer: Of course I don't. But as far as the ESP Team goes, I do hope to tell readers where they can go to read, see, etc. the results of their "discovery."

I feel that if we'd had a longer friendship the ESP Team might have helped preserve my good reputation. But as it was, we only knew each other through this blog for a short time. I guess I've gotten the right amount of loyalty from them in proportion to the length of our friendship.

I would love to get together with the team, take a few photos and set this whole ordeal to rest. I've asked before so don't expect that it will happen.

But, I will keep track of the monthly anniversary until something breaks.

Best regards to you all,

Linda Newton-Perry

A Bigfoot Poem, A Silly Bigfoot Poem

The reading of the poem below. Enjoy.

Bigfoot Newspaper Column, A Matter of Time

Do you remember the two guys from Georgia, 2008, that said they had in their possession a bigfoot body, stored safely in a freezer? Long months after the fact, they now claim that indeed they did have a body and some men in black came and relieved them of it, threatening all sorts of punishment if they didn’t give the body to them. (I’ve written about this before in this column.)

Rick Dyer, his wife and a friend have managed, according to Dyer, to assemble at least three vehicles to travel the states and Mexico to find bigfoot. Dyer’s story must have been convincing to a backer, because that is where he claims to have gotten the money for his project.

I find Dyer’s story compelling and possibly true, when I hear him tell it on his several videos on Youtube. He’s tamed down his bravado, for the most part, and speaks in a quieter, calmer voice. (But, hey, if his experience is true, then, and if it were me, I’d be jumping up and down for some attention too.)

The reason I’m mentioning Dyer, last week he released a video on Youtube advising bigfoot researchers to stop publishing videos of fuzzy blobs and far-off figures moving through the forest, as well as, I assume, the photos of dark shadows with arrows pointing to eyes, nose, etc. He feels only sharp, clear photos and videos should be released.

I certainly agree with his reasoning, but we bigfoot believers want desperately to see anything that might be a bigfoot. Don’t you agree?

I’m beginning to think I don’t want to see a bigfoot. I know I don’t want to see one up close, especially if he can see me. Okay, I take it back. I do want to see a bigfoot. I just don’t want to have to run from it. I don’t even want to have to make the decision to run from it.

One thing is for sure, if I see a bigfoot I’ll be sure to tell my readers. Well now, let me think about it. Perhaps, I’ll just keep it to myself. I’ve just had plenty of nonsense comments on our online bigfoot magazine, Bigfoot Ballyhoo, claiming I make up every sighting reported and even groups of researchers.

So why would I tell anyone, if I did get a glimpse of this handsome animal? ... Until next week, Linda Newton-Perry

A Silly Poem for the Children

Bigfoot at the Window

All this talk of bigfoot has really got me down.
Since there is no shade on my window
I fear he can see me now...

I pile the window with stuffed animals, but they fall down.
So then nothing blocks my window
I know he sees me now...

You ask, “Have you seen bigfoot? Is that why you are so down?"
I answer, “Well, shadows and icy figures are at my window.
One could be bigfoot staring at me now”...

Yes, all this talk of bigfoot has really got me down.
And since there is no shade on my window
Mom says, “Turn off the light NOW!

“No, don’t just turn it down!
If the light is off, bigfoot can’t see in the window”
My mom’s so smart. I’ll turn the light off right now.

Yea, I’m no longer down.
With the light off, I can see through the window.
I can see the bigfoots under the yard light, playing NOW!

Reading from Bigfoot Premise by Linda Newton-Perry

A Comment! Yea!!!!

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "Bigfoot talking ...":

If you really think that your web site will ever have anything to do with anyone publishing their factual research on Bigfoot and having it taken seriously you are extremely delusional.

This site is humorous entertainment at best. As for your claims of 2 members of ESP seeing Bigfoot, can you prove it? I didn't think so. You can't even prove ESPs existence. There are so many holes in ESP's claims, you could drive a truck through it!
Just because you keep saying something is true does not make it true. [You are so right!... LNP] At some point you need to produce PROOF. ESP's silence says it all.

I am familiar with all of the people involved in Bigfoot research. It's a fairly small community.  If ESP was doing any real research, myself and others would hear of it.

Face it, your hoax failed and the fallout from it was more than you expected. [It did not fail because there was no hoax!]The really sad thing is you also hurt real researchers and that is why you will always be shunned in the BF community. [This "mess" was done to me. How will the BF Community fix it, when I'm proved right?]

I know, you don't care because you're not part of the BF community, but for someone who doesn't want to be part of the BF community you sure do spend a lot of time commenting on other's sites (for example, on Henry Mays' site last week). The difference between you and Henry, though, is MK really did do Henry wrong. In your case you created your own problem and got caught! [Not true.]

People like yourself are what's wrong in todays society. You created ESP and their story and when you were called on it, you try to play the victim. Give us a break! [Prove it. Prove that I made it all up! You can't because I didn't. And by the way, you don't know me. If you did, you sure wouldn't say that I am and people like me are what is wrong with the world. I'm waiting for the ESP Team to speak up or present their findings. When that happens I may very well find another hobby. Have a nice day!]

The areas in read, above, by Linda Newton-Perry

Bigfoot talking ...

I got a comment telling me that I'm naive where the ESP Team is concerned. I believe I can be "naive" about many things, but not about this team. (A team that two of its members actually witnessed a bigfoot, early morning of Aug. 8, 2010.)

The anonymous  commenter  also said that this site has become a laughing stock. Okay by me, if that's what it is going to take to get the ESP Team's information and discovery recognized as truly happening.

I would be very happy if some of the ESP members would start commenting, or even their family members.

Anyway, we will wait for news. Remember on average over 100 readers come to Bigfoot Ballyhoo each day and a grand totoal of over one hundred and sixteen thousand since publishing this site.

A Bigfoot Newspaper Column

When some of my friends find out that I’m a bigfoot believer, they often can’t believe it. It’s difficult for them to picture me poking around the forest with a gun strapped to my waist; after all, when they are in my company I’m usually in heels and a skirt.

I once in a while wonder how I arrived at the point of mentioning my interest in bigfoot with little or no reason. Well, I take it back. I do know. I live in Oregon and one doesn’t have to go far to enjoy the wonderful world of wild mountains and forests. One can be traveling the freeway and pass through some of the most beautiful forests on a simple shopping trip to a near city.

And for that reason conversation can easily turn to the deer one has seen along the roadway, or just missed hitting as it shot across the road in front of the vehicle they were in. It’s an easy step to mention bigfoot from there.

“But, Linda, from fashion writing to bigfoot! It’s just so hard to believe,” a friend said last week. And yes, I too am surprised to find myself a bigfoot newspaper columnist (Feb. 2012 it will be four years).

If time allows in such conversations, I often explain that when my husband, Christopher Perry, and I gave up our interest in the local newspaper, I searched for a topic to write about that would keep me involved with the paper. I was mildly interested in bigfoot and so started the column, “A Matter of Time.” At one time the column was published in three local papers. (The ownership of two of the papers changed. Neither new one cared for the subject of bigfoot and so dropped the column.)

My husband and I also write an online bigfoot magazine, Bigfoot Ballyhoo. The original idea of the magazine was to gather information for the newspaper column. Bigfoot Ballyhoo (www.bigfootballyhoo.blogspot.com) has worked beautifully for that. We enjoy publishing forest photos on the site along with news of bigfoot.

This time of year has always been slow for news of bigfoot. Many believe bigfoot comes down from the high mountains this time of year. If you journey to the forest, please do watch for it. Snap a photo if you can, and then tell us about it.

Our address is Perry’s, P.O. Box 334, Sutherlin, Oregon. And, surprise your friends, tell them about your interest in bigfoot! Until next week, Linda Newton-Perry

I've never believed that I would snap a photo of bigfoot. Indeed, I've given up on the idea. I do, however,
hope to see one in the wild. I believe if I spend enough time in the woods and forests I might see one. Who knows.  Just as everyone, I may have to be satisfied with the photos and video that are presented on youtube. ... Linda Newton-Perry-- a bigfoot believer.

Ron Smith has left a new comment on your post "Jan. 2010, Oregon Bigfoot Sighting":

My name is Ron Smith. I posted the "call" experience near Mule Mountain , and have another instance to report. We were hunting in the Lorane area off of Wolf Creek in 2009.

We had hiked a blocked skid road approx. 2 miles into a heavily wooded marsh, over grown with Skunk Cabbage. He went one way, while I circled the large marsh on the opposite side. Visibility was limited to 50 or so yards in the timber.

As I skirted the marsh, I heard 3 very loud, distinct, evenly spaced wood knocks. BONK..BONK..BONK. echo from the drainage at the rear of the marsh.

After we returned to the road. My friend said that he had heard them. I told him that they sounded very even and deliberate, as if striking a wind fall with a bat. He agreed, and stated that no animal he knew of could have made those sounds, neither inadvertently, or otherwise.

The guy I was hunting with "was" a Bigfoot skeptic. He is open to the idea now.

Thank you for the comment. ... LNP

Newspaper Column: A Matter of Time

Last week was very cold in our area of Oregon. I still managed to get out into the frosty mountains, watching for and searching for bigfoot tracks. As a matter of fact, I was out several times. I’m drawn to the forest both in cold weather and warm. I didn’t see or even suspect I was seeing a bigfoot while in the tangled forests. And I didn’t see a track, either. I was going to write that I wasn’t disappointed in not finding or seeing bigfoot. But I caught myself. For, indeed, I am always disappointed not to catch a glimpse of a bigfoot or see its tracks.

The thought just occurred to me that many people may not enjoy the forests if they knew a bigfoot-type animal lived in them. Then again, there are those that believe the forests would be overrun with bigfoot searchers, if the “powers-that-be” would just admit that bigfoot is a possibility. Who knows what would actually be the case?

I again asked about the limping bigfoot that has been spotted several times on hwy 38, near Elkton and Scottsburg, Oregon. The comment on our online bigfoot magazine, (a blog), again mentioned that the animal could have been hit by a truck near Scottsburg. It seems a truck driver said he hit a tall hairy man. No body was found. The animal has not been seen since. Please do keep alert for a sighting of this animal near Scottsburg and Elkton. If you will remember, the animal was said to have gray hair on a large portion of its body. It could be old and, of course, injured.

On the eighth of December, it was the sixteenth month since the ESP Team’s trail cam snapped a photo of a bigfoot. The team’s name for the animal is Big Clyde. Each month, I remind the readers of Bigfoot Ballyhoo and readers of this newspaper column of the monthly anniversary. Why? I have several reasons: I don’t want readers to forget about the team’s photos and discovery, and I want news of the team to be reported to me. And last, I want my name cleared of any hoax charges. This will only happen when their “discovery” is made public. If I don’t keep up with the news of the ESP Team (not told of their activity and announcements etc.) I will forever be known as a hoaxer, which I am NOT! Until next week, Linda Newton-Perry

About the Limping Bigfoot

Ella has left a new comment on your post "So, no one has seen the limping bigfoot?":

My friends and I were talking about it the other day. Seems the injured Bigfoot has left the Scottsburg area. We know of no new sighting since fall began.

One of my friends believes the Bigfoot was hit by a passing truck in September. I guess the driver of that truck said he thought he hit a large dark man crossing the road at the park but police never found any signs of any person dead or otherwise.

We know the Bigfoot seemed to stay around the Mills Creek and Jimmy Creek area. It could be that the Bigfoot moved on or died from old age.

I ask every week at Bob's if anybody has seen it. Our neighbor and her hubby did see it one time near the old Hansen Farm on Fern Top road in the summer but was too far away to get a good picture of it.

They think the Bigfoot is quite old because of the amount of grey on it's body.

Thank you for such a great comment. I do hope the animal is still around. ... LNP

Bigfoot Newspaper Column

It is my opinion that the “Bigfoot World” is becoming weirder and weirder. I’ll try to explain. Well, I spend way too much time on the Internet, Youtube─mostly. I search the videos for interesting ones that I can use on our site, Bigfoot Ballyhoo.

I’ll begin with fasanotampa’s hoax video to prove my case for weird. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy fasanotampa’s videos, his approach and most of the time, his demeanor. But last week he filmed a video he claimed to be bigfoot.

He left the video on Youtube for I don’t know exactly how long and then later filmed another one explaining the bigfoot he filmed was himself. It was a hoax. He said he did it to prove how easy it is to produce a hoax video. These were not his words, but it was what he was saying in his own way.

Okay, perhaps I should take back that this sort of conduct is weird. I do understand it. So, forget that I said anything about filming oneself as bigfoot and passing it off as a real sighting was weird. I’ll change “weird” to “interesting.”

I know it can be very frustrating to search and search and not get a glimpse of bigfoot in the wild. Personally, I believe sightings of bigfoot will always be rare, even after science proclaims the animal “real.” I mean, after all, this animal “post discovery” is not going to step meekly out of the woods with his hands up and grunt something like, “Okay, you got me.” And, he probably will not sit for woodsy portraits.

We can just forget it. Again, I believe it will never become a common occurrence, sighting bigfoot. I mean most of us that are sensitive to the forest’s beauty get excited to see a couple of deer grazing along the roadside as we drive by. And so, I believe it will always be true of any bigfoot sighting: those observing the animal will simply go bonkers!

I know it would leave me dizzy-headed to glimpse bigfoot in the wild. As a matter of fact, I was several times last week in areas bigfoot could have been. And, by the way, I did see a deer or two and was perfectly delighted. I understand the need, the desire, to film a video of bigfoot even if the whole thing is made up.

And it was good that the above mentioned fasanotampa explained right away that his video was a hoax. Until next week, Linda Newton-Perry

Our Bigfoot Skeptic

Ballyhoo has not heard from our skeptic this week. Penelope is very busy these days. She has just moved and is busy getting settled. We can just imagine her response to Timbergiantbigfoot's video and fasanotampa's hoax video. "Drama, simple drama." She would probably say.  We will be sure to ask her when she shows up.

Can anyone provide information on the sighting over the weekend on the South Fork of Sixes River. Many of us in Port Orford have heard that a large Sasquatch was seen near a campground by 5 people on Saturday the 26th. The thing was said to be over 8ft tall and black with some grey streaks around its head and back. I'm interested because i'm currently writing a book about the man that spent a night in his disabled work truck and claims to have seen two Bigfoot's around his pickup that night. The area he was in is within 4 miles of this recent sighting. I have gathered much information on his sighting over the last 6 months. If anyone can help please comment. The story about this man is in your back comments from last year I believe.

A note to FB

Dear F Beck,
I appreciate your comment. I sense what you wrote you believe. While this ESP Team “discovery” played out, I was there (Aug. 8, 2010). I was there in that I was at my computer and was emailed and received comments from the three men. All three members communicated with me.  I still believe that the Team’s work will come to light when they give the okay. I’m a nobody in the bigfoot discovery realm. I’m simply a writer and a bigfoot believer. I keep reminding my readers of the above date because one day I and Bigfoot Ballyhoo will be vindicated. I wish for nothing more than to clear my good name. Each day over 100 people visit Ballyhoo. I am happy for that. Please do keep checking back, because one day you will be very surprised. ... Ms. Kathy Bigfoot wanted us to do this video. So, we did. Ms. Kathy likes throwing her weight around. AND there is a lot to throw AROUND! (That was suppose to be funny.)

A Bigfoot Story: Fiction

Roland Ray Baker looked forward all week to the time he’d spend on his second floor deck perched off the kitchen of his vacation home. Thud. He pulled the door shut on his old gas sipping Honda. Not much of a car to look at, but her keep-on-going ability made up for what she lacked in eye appeal.

He’d removed the back seat of the car so he could carry anything he required, from bags of groceries to small pieces of furniture. The aroma of  Ruth’s Cafe coffee filled the little car’s interior. Baker cranked the wheel to begin backing. He paused to let a massive drab-green truck, pulling in off Deer Creek Road, stop. Misty, the name of his little car, jerked and finally reversed far enough to allow him to see past the end of the truck. The big double-cab truck shuddered, jerked and then stopped. Inches from Misty’s passenger front window a hairy leg and massive foot now dangled off the end of the truck’s flatbed.

What was he looking at? Misty stalled. Baker turned the key. The engine caught and Baker backed up, swung wide and parked about thirty feet away. He turned in his seat, so he could watch the truck and driver. The driver, cell phone pressed to ear, sprinted into Ruth’s Cafe. Less than two minutes later he was back, coffee in hand.

Was it possible he was seeing a bigfoot’s leg and foot? Baker shook his head and gulped the last of his coffee. The truck turned south. Baker would have turned north but decided to follow the truck. His plan was to snap a photo of the leg and foot with his cell phone. He got the shot and turned around, heading for his cabin. He stopped at Ruth’s to use the computer and send the photo by email to Richard Boyd, his employer and best friend. Both men enjoyed the subject of bigfoot and spoke often of whether the animal existed or not.

Baker got the photo sent. Thud. He shut Misty’s door. Was that the truck with the bigfoot coming back? Baker backed between two travel trailers, stopped and watched the truck. The leg and foot were no longer hanging from the flatbed. Oh no, he thought to himself. Did the driver know he’d seen the leg and foot? Probably did, he decided. So what? What’s the big deal?

The driver of the bigfoot truck paused at the door on exiting the cafe. Baker ducked down without giving it thought; shouldn’t have done it. The movement caught the truck driver’s eye. He was now banging on the window at Baker’s shoulder for him to roll it down.

“Hey, you the same guy that followed me just now?” He swung his arm south.

Baker said nothing.

“Listen man, you saw nothing. You understand?

Baker let his chin dip. The man hit the car door with a balled fist, pointed his finger and repeated “understand?”

“I understand. Quit hitting my car!” Baker growled with more confidence that he felt.

The driver stalked off, turned and pointed a gloved index finger at him. Baker guessed the man was making his point. His point was, he expected Baker not to tell anyone about the bigfoot leg and foot he’d seen.

Heart thumping fast and swooshing in his ears, he remembered the emailed photo to Richard Boyd. There was absolutely no chance that Boyd would not put that photo on Youtube. Baker turned south for home. Once there, he flipped on his computer found Youtube and the photo of the bigfoot leg and foot. To his astonishment the truck’s license plate and number were visible. Baker drew in a deep breath and slowly let it out, for on the plate a state seal was clearly visible, clearly recognizable.

He called Boyd. The only thing they could think to do was beat it down to the police station and tell them what they knew, that they’d been threatened and that they’d put the photo on Youtube.  The police officer that took the report watched the video, laughed and told them not to worry about it. But, they did worry about it.

They went straight to the local TV station. The story made the more popular evening news programs. The result was the dead bigfoot was shipped to a university. The university agreed to allow the evening news programs to keep up with the findings on the amazing animal.

After several months, the university announced the official name of the new species we have for long years called, bigfoot. Happily, Roland Ray Baker and Richard Boyd were given many opportunities to talk about their part in the discovery of bigfoot.

Baker is now retired and working on his third bigfoot book. He relishes the part of most days that he sips his favorite beer on his second floor deck, perched off the kitchen of his vacation home.

Newspaper Column "A Matter of Time"

Timbergiantbigfoot, on the Internet has published a video on Youtube. The movement, a dark speck, may or may not be a bigfoot. It is simply too far away to be certain of what one is observing.

Timbergiantbigfoot lives in Canada and just recently came into possession of a high definition video camera. The video is clear enough. He was just too far away to get the convincing shot. Isn’t that the way with “discovering bigfoot”?

I find it hard to believe that bigfoot will ever be captured alive so that “science” can study the animal. (I could be wrong. For a certainty, I’ve been wrong about plenty of things concerning bigfoot.) I guess the point I’m making is that each and every photo taken of the animal should be precious. And, of course, it is to bigfoot believers.

I wonder if bigfoot will not become extinct before science takes the animal seriously.

Could there be right now a Jane Goodall-type living and quietly researching this animal? Wouldn’t that be wonderful? On the Internet there are many individuals who claim to have repeat encounters with bigfoot. What if it’s true? Well, that would be outstanding. Why not, if it’s true, tell us a about it.

To me, many of these people that are interviewed come across as a little “off.” Perhaps, if I lived deep in the woods, I’d come across as a little strange to others as well. I have to remind myself that these people do not have need of business attire, nor do they speak as our local news commentators.

I spend time each day on the Internet, Youtube  and blogs, looking for information for this column and my online bigfoot magazine, Bigfoot Ballyhoo (wwwbigfootballyhoo.blogspot.com).

I, for a short time, published timbergiantbigfoot’s videos on my site. It wasn’t long before he asked me to stop. Why? He was concerned about the negative remarks he was getting about my site and me. I’m not even allowed to comment on his Youtube channel. I was unhappy about this as I believe timbergiantbigfoot is one of the most believable of the amateur researchers.

Often, amateur researchers will stop publishing because of the attack of their readers on their character. What a loss to bigfoot research. I believe, as many do that an amateur researcher will be the one to deliver that great photo of bigfoot, since the science community is not beating the bushes for bigfoot, so to speak.
