Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

Bigfoot Sighting

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "Youtube Video":

Sighting Date 6/7/2012. Time 3:30am . Place, one mile up Old Tiller Highway.

Statement: I was driving a crew wagon with 8 fellow employees on Old Tiller Highway driving east to job site near Drew. A very tall and heavy hair-covered apelike thing crossed the highway and stopped to look at us going by.

It was some mix of human and ape looking with red glowing eyes. It then left the shoulder and disappeared into the trees.

All but two of us saw it. The other two were sleeping. We talked about calling the cops but decided not to involve ourselves with them.

One in the crew knew of this site from a local paper so I decided to tell it here with anonymity. It was not anything we have ever seen before. It was a BIGFOOT and not a misidentified animal as suggested by our boss upon him hearing about the sighting. I know this sounds incredible but we all believe this thing was 10ft and at least 900 lbs.

Thank you for such a great comment and sighting. ... Linda Newton-Perry

Newspaper Column "Bigfoot: A Matter of Time"

Last week on Bigfoot Ballyhoo (www.bigfootballyhoo.blogspot.com) we asked if anyone had heard news of the limping bigfoot in the Scottsburg, Elkton areas (Oregon).

A reader wrote that the animal had not been seen for quite some time. The consensus is the animal is dead or has moved on. Actually, there were rumors that the animal may have been hit by a vehicle near the Loon Lake turnoff. A body was searched for, but never found. If you’ve heard anything, please do comment on Ballyhoo or write a letter to P.O. Box 334, Sutherlin, Oregon, 97479.

If you follow Bigfoot Ballyhoo, you know that we are launching a series of books with the topic: searching for bigfoot. We’ve invited our readers to share in the adventure and have their work published in one of the books. To begin with, the books will be by season. June, 2012, will be the first and the summer book. The books should be available to order by September.

So, if you would like to take part and possibly be included in the book, registering is a must. Email the Perrys at www.lnewtonperry@hotmail.com. A name must be included. The photos you submit must be no larger than 4x6, great quality and captioned. We look forward to hearing from you.

(You are invited as well, if you are a reader of this newspaper column and do not have Internet access, simply write a letter stating that you’d like to be part of the book. See address above.)

I stated I would not write more about the ESP Team unless I got new information. I did receive a post on Ballyhoo by a person that knows Bill Emery. It seemed believable. So I allowed the post. I did withdraw my request for a meeting with Emery because of the peculiarities and dangers associated with the Internet. (It is difficult to trust anyone since “Anonymous” often is a real bad guy!)

I wish to thank the readers of this newspaper column and Ballyhoo, especially those that post positive comments.

We at Ballyhoo are simply bigfoot enthusiasts and writers. We look forward to the day that bigfoot will be proclaimed by science as a real animal. What fun that will be. Those that use the forest for recreation will know to watch for the animal. Who knows, maybe it will lead to some great photos. And, of course, information should be available on how we are to react when we see one of these amazing beings. What do you think? Until next week, Linda Newton-Perry and Christopher Perry
