Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

A Question

If you've seen a bigfoot, why not share the experience. And because you've seen a bigfoot you belong to a very special club. It's called the ISB Society (I've seen a bigfoot or I'd like to see a bigfoot). You don't have to do anything, you simply belong to the society because you've seen a bigfoot or wish to see a bigfoot.

If you wish you can copy the card in the right hand column, size it to a business card size and either print it on your own printer or take it where photos are instantly printed. Carry it in your wallet or purse, to prove you are a very special gal or guy, because you've seen a bigfoot. You may wish to start a club at school using the card. That's okay with us here at Bigfoot Ballyhoo.

We just hope you will tell us about it. What fun it would be for us to know you and your friends are talking bigfoot and using the card provided here on Bigfoot Ballyhoo.

P.S. Grownups can print the card, too.  Why not start a club and include your children. It would be fine way to introduce children to the wonders of nature.

Possible reasons why bigfoot is still a mystery: How many of you have spent lots of time in the forest? Well, if your answer is not much don't feel alone! It has been estimated that only 12% of Americans ever spend more than one week a year in the national forest areas. Many people ask, why doesn't more people see bigfoot? The answer is simple. The chance of spotting a bigfoot is nothing more than luck. Many sightings are people that are in the right place at the right time only.

As a forester of many years traveling Washington States forest, I have never seen a bigfoot. Tracks are a bit different. On two occasions I saw tracks of something I couldn't identify. My feeling on this matter of bigfoot is the being is very aware of the ramifications of people. What I should say is bigfoot would know people are its only natural enemy.

I am keenly aware that news of a new biped is coming soon. It is that word that scares me and others about over reactions from citizens who might feel bigfoot is somehow a threat to public safety. The bigfoot would be like apes or humans with different personalities to each one. If people look at the infighting among investigators a obvious pattern remains from years ago. Turf wars have not helped to uncover evidence of this mystery creature. What it has done is split science on the possible existence of a new species. It's past time to stop the infighting and look to the future for the survival of the Sasquatch/Bigfoot/Yeti
