Please help us make Bigfoot Ballyhoo a great place to be. Thank you, Marcy, for your comments. We appreciate them so much. This is my last comment until tomorrow late afternoon. It's drizzly today, but we will try to get some pictures of the Umpqua River. ... Later ... Linda Newton-Perry

New Bigfoot Experience
Percy Hall has left a new comment:
June 3rd 2010. Three couples with children were camped on Rock Creek campground over the holiday. On the evening of the 3rd one couple said something approached them on the other side of the creek . They heard it come down through the heavy brush and stood near the creek watching the kids throwing rocks in the water. At different intervals the thing let out a weird grunt like sound and the couple said this thing smelt like a dead skunk.
It stayed there for about 15 minutes and then left with a good deal of noise walking trough the brush. The air was ripe with the smell from this thing. I could smell it from my campsite even. The parents made the kids go back to the trailers and shut the doors. The couple told me what they had heard. We went to investigate but all of us had a feeling of danger so we didn't cross the creek. I told the couple they needed to tell the forest service about this but they were to scared to report it . Later that night I heard some loud screams coming from the mountain near the camp. I reported the sound to the USFS the next morning only to get a smile and a wink from him. The following night something or somebody walked around my trailer and made my dog go nuts. I shined a light out but did not see anybody.
The next morning my Coleman cook stove had been turned over and a can of MJB coffee and 3 pounds of bacon was gone. Some weird tracks were barely visible and looked to be barefoot tracks of a human but larger than any person I have seen. These prints were around 19 inches long so I thought somebody was playing games, but since I have thought about it and feel no human made these tracks or prints. I did hear what sounded like tree knocking the week before but didn't think much more about it. I really didn't believe in bigfoot but now I don't know what to believe.
This area is very close to Sru Lake. Rock Creek is the lower road off USFS 33

How I Felt Then ...
When we began Bigfoot Ballyhoo the message on the cap is how I felt then. Now if I saw a bigfoot I'd talk about it here on Bigfoot Ballyhoo. And if I took a photo ... Oh well, I don't know what I'd do. What would you do? ... Linda Newton-Perry

Again No Big Clyde Photo
Monday, November 8th, a family spokesperson commented on Bigfoot Ballyhoo that they observed a manlike creature walk across the road near the Douglas/Coos line on Hwy 42, Oregon. Often, Ballyhoo (www.bigfootballyhoo.blogspot.com) gets sightings just a day or two old. This is very exciting. Truly folks, it is just a “matter of time“ before “bigfoot talk” will become commonplace. Gone will be the days of people smiling and chuckling at the words bigfoot or sasquatch.
Again, I have to announce, there is more depressing news on that photo of Big Clyde; a representative of the ESP Team has informed us, Ballyhoo will not get a copy of the photo. Evidently, copyright laws don’t mean much in some cases and for that reason the ESP Team will not allow a photo of Big Clyde on Ballyhoo. Since, they reason, it is very likely it will be copied and put on all the bigfoot sites and more; it is very likely it will be put down, laughed at, called a hoax, and more. So, for now we will wait as the world waits for this courageous team to release their information and photos to the world. If you will remember, the photo of Big Clyde was captured, Aug. 8, 2010. I do hope when the announcement occurs a video of it will be allowed on Ballyhoo. Since we have so often been let down by the waiting of announcements and photos from the ESP Team, we will not mention the team again until the announcement of their work is broadcast, whatever form “it” takes.
It seems there is no shortage of ones claiming special knowledge of how to make Bigfoot Ballyhoo a successful blog. We feel it is already successful. Chris and I are writers not scientists. The blog is for entertainment, whatever knowledge that can be gleaned from those sharing sightings, and simply for a place to talk bigfoot. And now of course, we’ve invited children to read the blog. And I’ve each Monday been publishing a chapter of the children’s bigfoot book LOCK YOUR DOORS COUNTRY FOLK on the blog. I’ll continue to do this until we’ve gone through all four of our children’s books. Please share photos and videos with us, especially those that children will enjoy. You may buy our books from Amazon.com or order from our site www.christopherperryandlindanewtonperry.com. Until next week keep talking bigfoot.
