Hi, Linda and bloggers,

I'm Dale Saxton and ran my own road building for 40 years. I became interested in Bigfoot in 1973 when I was building a road into Wilder Creek in the Siskiyou National Forest. Had been up there for a week and one morning I came to work to find these large barefoot tracks on the spur going into where I'd left the bulldozer overnight.

What got my attention was the size of them, 16 inches long. I knew for sure no human had been there since I shut down the night before. There were no other tracks along the dirt road, or no car tracks anywhere close to my job. This really peaked my interest in finding out what or who made them.

I never did find out, but started reading books on strange tracks. When I retired in1993, I turned my attention to investigating sightings and tracks in southern Oregon. Since '92, I've went to many reported tracks and sightings of this animal and have seen some stunning things.

Sure some were hoaxes but the vast number of them can't be explained by police or the public. Their out there. Keep Up The Hunt.

All ll is not lost Linda. You still might be able to clean this mess up. It would take a very big person to do what is necessary and it might sting for a moment but I know you can do it. Just think of the outcome. For starters I will name several of the topics that we have discussed in months leading up to this weekend. We could start off simple. Your part is to enlighten us and let us know if each one is fiction or fact.

Fact would mean this is how you heard it and absolutely no changes were made to the story.. Fiction would be anything that isn’t 100% fact. Example .If you received a story of a sighting and then put a spin on it to juice it up. Even if this story was something you had heard but you decided to change something as minor as a name or a place for whatever reason. Then this in turn would be considered fiction.

Linda My name is Bob and I have followed this webpage for the last 3 months.I do not beleive in kicking someone when they are down.Religion shouldnt be brought into this and it wont but I just wanted to let you know that I try very hard to be a good Catholic and I really want to try to help you with this situation. Things arent as bad as they could be.Now is the time to make things right!

Thank you Bill Emery for your help to get to the bottom of this most disturbing animal at that lake. Reporting the bigfoot to the authorities was something we thought to be the essential thing for other peoples safety. After we reported this animal we have since then been ridiculed and laughed at by these same authorities.


My daughter has not been able to cope with the sighting and now is in therapy for PTSD. My wife will no longer go camping in the forest because of this experience. We've had a bigfoot organization try to blame the demeanor of the animal or creature on us. I want to make it perfectly clear that my family did nothing to this bigfoot animal to make it act aggressive towards us. We were simply camping at the lake when this giant creature started watching my daughter and son from behind a big tree. My wife did nothing other than scream for me to hurry and help her get the kids away from the lake area.

The talk about reporting it as a pervert was most disheartening to us. We told what we saw and never said one word about this thing being a human. In fact we made it perfectly clear that this thing was not a human. I can only hope this does not happen to other people-families this summer. Bill Emery and Dale Saxton were the only two that treated us with complete respect and believed us. I was asked the other day by my daughters doctor if we would still report it now. If we knew now what be would be in for, no, we would not.

Why should I be ashamed?

Someone asked if I'm ashamed to keep this blog going, because I'm being made fun of. Short answer is no. Why should I be, I've done nothing wrong, certainly not lied or made up things. A group of readers are trying to discredit this blog.  The sad thing about this whole thing is, I don't believe when they are found to be wrong that a simple, "sorry" is going to be very satisfying. 

This ongoing accusation of me hoaxing a group that captured bigfoot photos is  ridiculous ! I believe ill mannered and jealous people are at the heart of it all. Remember there is much to be gained by very few in this hunt for bigfoot and its discovery.

I've reported information as it came to me.  I've made nothing up. Keep enjoying the blog. The truth will come out, I am positive. ... Linda Newton-Perry
