Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

Shirley Camps message doesn't make logical sense.

How can there be confidential files on bigfoot? If there were "confidential files, they would be acknowledged and access denied based on national security. There are NO FILES per every attempt made by every bigfoot organization through the FOIA.

Yeh, yeh, I know that we all agree that there are some files somewhere, but they do not acknowledge this, so, they cannot claim protection.

There are no protection measures in place because it does not exist...Get the point here. They cannot have it both ways.

It either does exist and there are protected files. If this did exist there would be redacted reports and files that would be released which would probably tell us nothing because of what they would exclude, but, there is nothing.
or
It does not exist and there are no files.

I remember a statement made on this site months ago about the release of the Columbus Day photo. This site stated that they couldn't print the photo because of national security and that the photo could be a national secret. I actually showed that to an Asst. US attorney that hunts with us, he laughed. He stated that personal property is personal property. Photos fall under freedom of speech and can't be restricted unless under a national decree. He stated that according to the govt bigfoot does not exist, he said to publish the photo and prey the government goes after you, they never will.

Guest Bloggers Visit Sru Lake Area and Report

Members of the Wilderness Society. has left a new comment on your post "Winter Photos Sru Lake":

After literally months of reading about the lake in Oregon called Sru Lake, we set out for a two day camp in the Eden Valley area. This is a spectacular place and is made up of tall timber and lots of different floras. As we entered the Siskiyou National Forest, sign just south of Powers, we noticed the county is utterly spectacular.

The country is made up of old growth timber and many streams of clear cold water. After leaving the road #33, which is the main artery that goes from north to south, we ended up on the 3348. This road is paved but caution is definitely advised. After about a 20 minute drive, we entered the Sru Lake Campground. It is a very small campground and only affords two campsites.

The lake is surrounded by timber of various sizes and makeups. The southeast side is very steep ground with old growth fir and cedar. At this lake's information board [you will find information] of various agencies that patrol the area. Then we left the lake area and proceeded on up the road that loops to Bald Knob Lookout.

This entire area is definitely a strange place. A small hike out on some trails shows small tree damage as described by Bigfoot researchers in prior books. Twisted saplings were present on several trails. Prints in soft soil seem to show abundant wildlife everywhere. As we continued to climb, the huge trees were laden with moss on the north sides and the mountain was absolutely breathtaking.

Though we saw no tracks of Sasquatch we felt the never ending feeling of "something not being right" as some might say. We felt as if something or someone didn't want us there. The trip was worth it because of the recent activity reported in the area.

We did talk with a USFS person and was told that the area receives allot of snow from November to May. The official also denied any Bigfoot reports from any area in his jurisdiction. His answer was very questionable to us. Our group feels this area is prime for the Sasquatch and the chances of seeing the creature are probably slim to none. The terrain is too severe for many and cover is abundant.

Bigfoot and United States Forest Service: Policy

Shirley Camps PC has left a new comment on your post "Anon, Inside USFS says, "...come clean about the e...":
The whistleblower protection act will not protect from releasing information about bigfoot without congressional approval. Title 143 does not provide protection from unauthorized releases of information to the public unless deemed cleared by congressional approval.

Bigfoot I'm not certain but seems to fall under classified but would certainly be under a special need to know clause. The Department of Interior hold many case files and are under the seal of classified because they don't have the data to know what the reaction from the public at large might be.

All classified material the government holds doesn't have to mean top secret or even top TDD. It can be something that is deemed sensitive to the public. If you have ever worked with employees on a title 143 you find out that the law has many holes in it.
