Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

"... what many people are seeing."

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "Plump blackberries now ripe!":

This is what many people are seeing. Since its not natural, people have a hard time computing it. I'm not saying that there  is no such thing as BF, but this video has to account for many so-called sightings.

Take Samson off Your Blog!

Today 3:36 P.M Pacific Time the Milwaukee Zoo withdrew permission for this blog to use the photos of the famous gorilla, Samson. He died several years ago. They do not wish the animal associated in anyway with a bigfoot.

Plump blackberries now ripe!

Bigfoot is sure to be enjoying the Oregon blackberries.
Author Ivan T. Sanderson in his book Abominable Snowmen Legend Come to Life made a comment on page 272 of the book that these beings may journey into the snow looking for saline rich moss. And don't we have plenty of moss in Oregon.

Here from the book an excerpt:
"Why does the creature undertake what must certainly be extremely wearisome expeditions into the inhospitable regions of snow? The natives have what sounds a very credible explanation: they say the Snowman likes a saline moss which it finds on the rocks of the moraine fields (rocks and debris left from glaciers). While searching for this moss it leaves its characteristic tracks on the snowfields. When it has satisfied its hunger for salt it returns to the forest."

If you will remember one of the pictures of the ESP Team was of the being holding a saltlick that was planted by the team. This is the photo that I was emailed. ... Linda Newton-Perry

Awaiting Photos of Bigfoot

Both bigfoot believers and bigfoot skeptics await the release of the Emery photos to the blog, Bigfoot Ballyhoo (www.bigfootballyhoo.blogspot.com). On Aug. 8, 2010, four photos were taken of the being commonly known as bigfoot. The team, ESP, is exercising all possible caution to make sure these photos remain ESP’s alone, with no one making money from them. ESP is carefully assembling with these photos their evidence, footprints, blood sample reports and so on. Given the hateful nature of the internet─bigfoot community in particular─it may be some time before we are allowed to see these photos. So we wait, exercising as much patience as bigfoot believers can under such circumstances.

On Aug. 18th, the ESP Team shared with Ballyhoo readers an email. It was unclear who the email was from, but it was exciting and elicited the most comments for one day ever on the blog. In part the email read: “Mr. William emery, the photos shown on 8-13-10 to Dr. Samuel and Dr. Kindred could prove to be valuable to anthropology. Dr. Samuel e-mailed me with his conclusion of what the photo depicts is very likely to be the Sasquatch.”

In the end, what will it take to “prove” this being exists? It is a constant and much voiced opinion that it will take a body, presented to science, for the being to be pronounced real. Readers of Ballyhoo know, or rather have been told, that at least three bodies have been recovered. But these bodies have not made it to the right scientists. And, if the account is true, were the Mt. Saint Helen’s bodies simply thrown in a hole and covered over? We know that the 1962 Columbus Day Storm remains, bones and reports, have long languished in a classified file with the Department of Interior. If you would like to read about this dead bigfoot-like being found under a fallen Douglas fir, simply type in 1962 Columbus Day Story. You will be presented newspaper articles and eye-witness accounts of this historic find.

Watching and waiting ...

It has been 13 days, Aug. 8, since the ESP Team "captured" on trail cams photos of bigfoot. Ballyhoo has decided to put this day count up so that the readers can have an easy way to tell how long it has been. It, of course, seems so much longer. Let's have fun waiting. After all, this may be the beginning of   PROVING that this being exists. And we've been in on the excitement from day one.

P.S. The ESP Team has promised to let Ballyhoo display the photos of bigfoot.
