Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

Loon Lake Turnoff, hwy 38: Accident: Bigfoot

I'm (Linda Newton-Perry) walking west here. Across this bridge and to the left is the road to Loon Lake. The Umpqua River is to my right. This is the area the crash took place and "hairy man" observed. If indeed, it is true.

A reader of this blog sent a private email which included an article from a local paper. Six people were hurt when they swerved off the road to avoid  two cars  stopped in the road. What the paper didn't say and the police radio did say was they stopped to avoid  hitting a large hairy man that was crossing the road. If you know more about this incident please tell us. Maybe it was the limping bigfoot.

Living in Reedsport we listened about the car wreck on emergency band. It was said that some car stopped because a large animal had forced a car to stop because of it being in the road. It did come over company radios that the first car claimed the animal was some hairy man. I don't think anyone should think it's true. Speed is usually a factor in the crashes in that area.

We don't know all the answers yet on the bigfoot. Nothing that we have can  we   begin  to    cmpare it with. I would say its    height      was 9 ft and maybe weighing 800 to 1000 lbs. We just don't know yet. What we do know is yes we were too  close for comfort. The face on it looked strangely human in ways but clearly not human. It has extreme damage to its right eye socket. The arms were longer in proportion than   a human's    would    be.     The chest seems to be large and protruded out like a body builders would. We think the smell is sweat from glands on it but are not real sure on this. As for the salt it did seem to lick it one time in my view.

We will not discuss what the cams were treated with as of now. We feel the bigfoot seen us putting food out on several occasions for him. We don't think he knew we were that close to him. Both of us were well covered in brush and ferns. When the picture are ready for release Bill's plans are to release all of them together.First all of them need to be documented and verified as untouched. We will not make the same mistakes as past pictures of bigfoot. Finally Im not brave just very instrested in finding out what this creature is and how long it has roamed our forest. When I retired from my work I wanted to find out why in so many years in the woods as a forester I never had seen one but witnessed tracks in 1965 and 1989.

Yes Bill will release all picture. Originals and negatives. With them we plan to also release the cast of tracks along with the scat report. Also we have showed the Hamilton family the pictures and they say it's the very same face Mrs.Hamilton saw that day at Sru Lake looking out from behind the tree. They have been treated poorly since that day and feel they need some apologies. We have been keenly aware that some officials have quote"COVERED UP THE REPORTS from this area for the last 12 years. We feel we have ample proof of this action.

Aug. 8th, 2010, the Team of  Bill Emery, Cole Saxton  and Hank (couldn't find Hank's last name) observed and caught on trail cam the being we call bigfoot. Four photos were taken. We bigfoot believers are celebrating. We do hope this is the beginning of the being's  debut. After all if we are in the woods with our family, isn't it just plain "right" that we know this being also is in the woods and forests?

Cole please add your comment of that early morning adventure. You said you heard it. Are you free to tell us more?... Linda Newton-Perry

Linda, Bill has agreed that I might say something of the morning we got the shots of bigfoot. I want to say at 60 years of age I can't remember one time I have been so scared. We could hear it coming with a deep, long grunt and cough sound. Bill was right beside the deer trail bigfoot came down and I thought it was going to walk right into him. When I first got a good look at it I nearly panicked because of its size. I had thought I was prepared for seeing it but wasn't. Then it grabbed the salt lick on the stump. About the size of a large muffin, the salt lick was and then it turned again towards Bill and seemingly was smelling the air. You know the way animals raise their heads and sniff the air? Then it walked back up the trail within 25 feet of Bill and turned one time to look again towards me. Then it quickly walked off the trail and into a patch of scrub.

Bill motioned for me to remain still until we heard the sound of the bigfoot leaving. It made the forest floor crunch as it left. The sound soon was gone so Bill came out onto the trail and signaled me to head toward the camp. He didn't want to take a chance of it looping around us and coming back. The smell of the bigfoot was terrible like bad body odor. We waited for a period of One hour and then the three of us retrieved the cams on that trail.
