Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

Just for Fun

A Word from Linda Newton-Perry

Bill Emery will be away for about a week to attend to family business. As you know Bill emailed one of the four photos he took of bigfoot to me. It is very exciting to just sit and stare at it. At first I thought I was looking at the being from the back, but Bill said the photo is of its right side and part of  its back. It will be good to see the other three.
I'd like to say to our readers that bigfoot photos will forever be needed  by science.   Just remember most sightings happen when one least expects it. So, if and when it happens to you, I hope your camera will be at hand and you too will click a great photo to share with science and the world. It looks as if soon bigfoot will be common knowledge and your photo could be just as helpful as the Emery Team's.  I don't believe it will ever be easy to get a photo of the being, but I do hope soon it will be easier to "talk bigfoot" and be taken seriously. Isn't that  one of the things we all want?

Please keep sharing your sightings, your questions and your opinions on this blog. ... Linda Newton-Perry

Hank of the Emery Team

Hank, are you free to tell us your experience with the Emery Team "Discovery"? We are happy to hear whatever you have to say.

P.S. I've already had someone ask if the team needs a book written.

More on a book:
Hi Linda,

I recommend that team Emery contact the National Geographic Society for publishing an article or special edition regarding their work and amazing findings.

Darleen B has left a new comment on your post ""...not give USFS any information on ..."":

The FOIA* act can be a double headed sword. People often abuse this act to gain information on people for their own general knowledge. A case in point: When the late Dale Saxton conducted his search for bigfoot near Sru lake FOIA requests were received by USFS officials in the Powers RD.   xxx wrote in his answer that he had no knowledge of Dale Saxton ,   Xx  AND Xx    even went on to say no snow was present during that time near the lake.

The sheriffs dept of Coos County even got involved because of ones quest to find out information they could have gotten from many private sources. In brief people sometimes use this act to gain private information on others that should not be available through FOIA. In other words "just plain snooping" should not be a criteria for requesting FOIA.These unjust request cost taxpayers money and time.

This has also made USFS not record many sighting of bigfoot on computers now days.

I've taken the names off from above comments. I do not want these men harrassed, questioned etc. because of informatin read on this blog. Please in the future do not use names. ... Linda Newton-Perry
