Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

Limping Bigfoot

Does anyone have additional info on the crippled bigfoot near Loon Lake? Did Umpqua Timber Land Mangement find it? We heard they found something a mile from Mill Creek.

Comment from  Sierra Tahoe Bigfoot Research:

I'm sure Dad is smiling big right now, Cole. I lost my dad on May 28th, and I can understand the emotions that are swirling around you after all this. I hope you got the chance to see it too. Please pass along to Bill how happy I am for him to have finally gotten the chance to see the grumpy ole squatch. I'm just glad that it was guys, like you who are up there. I know it is your foremost objective to keep the big squatch safe. You respect it, and I respect you for this reason. I commend you! Take care up there guys, and God Bless. Chuck

Sierra Tahoe, I'm very sorry for your loss. It's a tough thing to swallow. Yes, the total preservation of this animal is our main goal in life. As you know Dad never saw one but searched since 1974 for it. He would be proud of his partner Bill. Dad did a grand old job getting Bill involved with bigfoot. No, I did not get to see it. I was in camp but heard the grunting and cracking of the underbrush.

I do hope we can all sit down one day together united and talk bigfoot. It's nice to be home with a hot shower.

"...not give USFS any information on ..."

G F. Gould comments:

Over the last couple of years we had FOIA request have come into Powers Ranger District from North America Bigfoot Search, NABS on Dale Saxton and other Bigfoot sightings. As a precaution I have suggested he to not give out any such information. The group will not give USFS any information on photos,  tracks and other material regarding the Bigfoot search. We have been advised we do not need to produce any information to the district being no animal was captured or harmed.

The USFS does not have any jurisdiction over the animals in the forest that is up to the individual states. We feel this would only be used to profit off work and research done by Emery if information was to be given. I have requested that Emery seek professional help in copyrights to keep the evidence sealed till a time when it is safe from fortune hunters to show the evidence and photos. This might sound unnecessary to some but is necessary to preserve the property of Emery.

I have also suggested that he not talk to any press till the time he has legal council experienced in such matters. Bill understands this and also the ramifications of any action taken by him or others regarding his expedition..

Wow, congratulations Bill, Hank and Cole! You guys are amazing in how you have handled this whole adventure. And Linda, you are to be commended on how you have handled this blog. So many other sites on the Internet turn into flame wars when dealing with the kind of information that has come forward on this blog in the last 6 months. You have kept it very civil.

This also validates my feelings that I have had, even before reading this blog, that something tremendous was going to turn the bigfoot world on its ear this year. Learning of the incidents at Sru Lake made me stand up and take notice, in my mind this was where it was going to happen.

Cole, the last paragraph where you wish your dad was there brought a tear to my eye. I am lucky to still have my dad with me, he is one of my best friends. He doesn't have a computer so I have been keeping him up-to-date. When he saw the game cam picture he immediately said WOW! He could clearly see the face, no questions asked. He loves hearing about bigfoot and watching TV programs about it. This whole adventure has got me pumped up, yesterday my fiend and I have solidified plans to take a camping trip to Kennedy Meadows in central California in 2 weeks to do some "research", unfortunately it will only be a weekend warrior type trip, but it will be in an area that has a few reports including a couple of recent happenings. We will be hiking a couple of miles into the place we are going to camp at, so hopefully there won't be any other people in the area.

I'm excited for everyone that has been involved in this blog, pretty awesome reading, if I say so myself!

INCREDIBLE SUCCESS!!!! Congratulations to Team Emery on one phenomenal outcome.
I am sure the rank and file of the FS are relieved, even if the higher ups may not be so relieved.
Cole it must be a bittersweet victory for you. We all wish you had your dad by your side for this incredible outcome.

I am over the top with joy and excitement.

Cole Saxton has left a new comment on your post "It's Okay to Celebrate":

We are very happy campers today. This morning the Sru Lake Bigfoot walked within 25 to 30 feet of Hank and Bill. Hank said they could hear it coming with a low long grunt sound accompanied by a kind of cough. Bill was near the south end of the stump when the bigfoot walked around a tree and grabbed a salt lick placed there by Bill.  Hank was about 50 feet from Bill under a fern patch.

We had found fresh tracks yesterday evening. Bill was tempted to take a very close picture of the animal walking toward him but didn't because of the threat of attack.

We will leave this area today and turn over everything to DS [OSP analyst] and then make sure we have all of our Ts crossed. The chain of command here will be very tight and documented in every possible way.

We will not release any photos of this creature till everything can be completely secured. Bill will make it impossible for anyone to profit off these photos. I wish my dad would have been able to be here.

Bigfoot News All Over Town!

Comment from Anonymous:

Yea!!!! It all over town (Powers)that Emery and his crew got good pictures of Sru Lake Bigfoot. A employee of the gov up here said they are absolutely shocked at the new outcome. I was told he viewed the photos up there at 7:30 this morning and reported it to his boss. He would not say more.

Team Emery Shares News: Got Him!

Good news! At 6 AM Sunday, Aug. 8th, 2010, Bill Emery's Team snapped four photos of the being, bigfoot. Bill Emery has emailed Chris and I one of the photos. The being is standing in front of an old rotten cedar stump. It is a dark grey form. The face is not clear so can't tell if we are looking at the front or back. Perhaps Bill can tell us. And Bill, did you see it in person?

Bill does not intend to show the picture yet, until it is enhanced. And I would hope he can find someway to brand the original photos so no one can copy and claim anything, good or bad about it.

Here is part of the email, Bill shared with Chris and I this morning.

"Linda and Chris, we had great success last night and early this morning. Bigfoot came within 25 feet of me and Hank. We put out salt licks last night to see if the animal would try to take it and he did. I'm enclosing a snap of #6 camera. DO NOT put it on the site yet. ... All together we got 4 shots. They will have to all be enhanced but we believe all are very good. ..."

Now what's Joey doing?

Yes, Hank we would love to have a photo of you. Please email to linda.perry@charter.net if you would like your picture displayed along with your comments. ... Linda Newton-Perry
P.S. Joey is the little bigfoot that lives on my desk. I made him from a charcoal eraser; and, I can turn him back into one if he gets out of control. As you readers know, I enjoy a little light fun now and again.

Marcy Comments

This is Marcy, not anonymous. And I'd like to add more applause, and huge thanks. Thank you, Linda Newton-Perry; thank you, Bill Emery and Cole and Hank. Thank you to Diann E., Al, Lou Griggs and Ida May. This is the very best way to fight off the churls who spew venom because they can't find a way to make money off someone else's work; call them out on it!

The men out in the field are showing incredible courage. They should be thanked and applauded, not accused of fakery. I'm grateful to have found this blog, and to read this news as it happens. And I'm very glad to pray for everyone involved, especially the men out in the woods. :-D
