Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

Now getting dark up here. The question about the scat: It was tubular in shape and weighed 3 lbs. It resembled human fecal matter but much larger than human. That's all I can say for now. Bill and Hank are out about in the brush. Bill wants to try a brand new approach tonight and they will remain out there all night. We will try our best tonight as time up here may grow short. I got Stew cooking outside in a pot for some extra enticement. Update Monday

Thanks

I wish to thank all of you who have commented today. What a wonderful group of people the readers of Bigfoot Ballyhoo are. And some believe this blog to be a "rag"! Hmmmm, I guess they just don't recognize true quality. ... Linda Newton-Perry

A Photo of Bigfoot?

Last week was an exciting week for the bigfoot world. One evening, we readers actually experienced firsthand the excitement of the Emery Team. Team member, Hank, was commenting on the blog, Bigfoot Ballyhoo, when he wrote, “I have to go something is coming.” We all held our breaths until we read that rocks had been thrown, one breaking the back window of the camp trailer, and Bill receiving a cut to a shoulder. Nothing of the instigator was observed. I believe that was the night I woke shouting “What was that?” I will tell you, that day Bigfoot Ballyhoo logged the most comments ever. I feel, through the blog we are witnessing bigfoot history. And the Emery Team is making that history! We are grateful that they are sharing their exciting search with us.

And now for the “dark side” of bigfoot research. Emery did capture the face of an animal on a trail cam. In good faith, he shared that image with Bigfoot Ballyhoo. The photo was copied from the blog and with much care reproduced from a cropped frame of the Patterson-Gimlin film. The one that reproduced the photo claimed that his and Emery’s were identical. He was saying that the photo taken by Emery was not authentic, that it was attained in the same way as the duplicate.

Bill Emery provided Bigfoot Ballyhoo with information submitted to the blog by DS. In great detail he explained (DS) how the trail cam was presented him, locked with serial number included. DS, an OSP Analyst, concluded with, “I will not say that the photo is of the legendary bigfoot but can say with good certainty that the image is of some real animal. It will take approx. 3 weeks for me to clean up the background to a more stable image. At that time I will present Emery with my finding.”

In conclusion, these photos were not identical: pixel formations are different. So we conclude that someone is trying to launch a campaign of doubt toward the Emery Team. Because of the small-minded jealousy that exists among some bigfoot researchers, Emery has decided it is in his team’s best interest to no longer share cam photos of bigfoot with Bigfoot Ballyhoo, until, that is, the photos can be proven authentic. We applaud this, for we want nothing to stand in the way of this animal being substantiated as a real forest animal. Go to the blog www.bigfootballyhoo.blogspot.com for much more information.

Bill Emery Comments

Good day all! We may have to leave this area as USFS has informed me the fire danger will be extreme by Wednesday. We will return when the danger is lowered. And I want to thank Duane for his comment. We will be casting tracks today at the site where the footprints were found. Hank told you the prints were 19 inches. The right footprint is 18.4 and left is 18.7. This is because of shrinkage of the dry soil. We did find scat that does not appear to be from the usual animals up here. The scat was full of berries and I believe something that looks like leaves. No activation on cams today.

I talked with two campers at Sru Lake and informed them we are looking for any evidence of bigfoot. I got a wink and laughed at. It doesn't bother me that some tend to do this. The laughter stopped when I told them of the recent sightings in the area. It was not my intention to scare them just to inform. We will write more Monday unless something shows before.

Bigfoot: Emery Cam Trail Analysis Report

DS Comments on the Emery Cam Photo:

I have been asked by William Emery to say a few words on your site about my analysis of the 23 frame from Emery's number 3 camera. When he brought in in it was sealed with a uncut plastic lock many power company use to seal your electric meter. The lock had the serial number 03422 still on it that was attached by me for security reasons. It was told to me yesterday at 9:30 by Emery that the photo shot had come into question. He said rumors of the photo being cropped and possible tampering with was running about.

I can announce that the photo and camera shows no signs of any such action. It as been told to me that a person took the copy of the camera photo and duplicated it from some old frame from the 60s. This cannot be the case. They may have taken the photo from number three camera and used it to make a similar image of some other picture. But the pixels would still be totally inaccurate.

I will not say that the photo is of the legendary bigfoot but can say with good certainty that the image is of some real animal. It will take approx 3 weeks for me to clean up the background to a more stable image. At that time I will present Emery with my finding .
