Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

Bigfoot: This could be the night! (Linda Newton-Perry's caption)

Bill Emery comments:

I sure hope people like the photos and I thank Marla for sending them to Linda. "Boy oh boy" was last night interesting! About 10 o clock Old Yeller my Golden Lab (dog)woke me up in a complete tizzy. His hair on his back was standing straight up. Then I heard it, A loud sound of something breaking branches and limbs on trees just behind my trailer. I went outside to see if I could locate the direction of the sounds and was hit by a strong stench. This was a stink so bad I was nauseating. I listened for about ten minutes to the sound of breaking limbs and crashing snaps in the brush before I went back inside to get my camera . (Oh yes I had forgotten my gun and camera inside the trailer). The sounds lasted off and on till four AM. At daybreak I went in the direction of the sounds to find some big branches seemly tore off a cedar tree. Not one track of anything was visible to me.Whatever tore those limbs down had to be over tall because the branches were pulled from at least 15 feet up or more. Now I did find what I think might be very strong urine from something on some green ferns. Will send it in for testing. I'm not one for guessing what might have been there but have ruled out many animal capable of ripping down those limbs. It is my hope it will return tonight. Under the circumstances Cole and Hank will stay here with me tonight. What is most baffling is no trail cam got any shots of anything. They were setup in a 1 mile perimeter around me. I got a feeling my visitor will be back. Will update tomorrow.

Regarding Bill Emery's photos.

These pictures are absolutely beautiful. Makes me understand that you can't really track Bigfoot, but that you put yourself in his habitat and he finds you. How incredibly easy it is for a large biped to hide just a few feet from where you may be standing and you would never see him. Rather spooky for us out in the prairies where everything is flat and wide open.
