Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

The 1962 File

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "Does Bigfoot Spend Time in the Trees?":

Tonight I found out that the DOJ has granted a preliminary hearing on a request from some attorney to reopen some old file from Oregon. What made me take notice was the year of the file 1962. I think this may be Debbie working on it. No name was mentioned but seems remote that more than one lawyer would be working on the same thing. Keep in mind this is not a grant to open anything, just a acceptance of a request to force over information on why DOI/DOA is classified the file as closed and has refused to open it to public eyes.

Spain to Give Some Human Rights to Apes

Photo: photoxpress

This story is all over the internet. Spain is the first country to give great apes some human rights. Two things come to mind (1) what about the rights of their bulls? (2) what about sasquatch? and will other countries follow?

Oh, you must have an opinion on this one. Let us hear it or read it  rather.  Comment!

Does Bigfoot Spend Time in the Trees?

Some scientists believe if bigfoot exists, he may belong to the great ape order of gorillas, chimpanzees and orangutans. Orangutan means "man of the forest" in two Indonesian words: orang and hutan.
The orangutan spends most of its  life in the trees. So, perhaps we should be looking up when we are hiking and searching for bigfoot.

(This information comes from the article "Meet Indonesia's 'Man of the Forest' which is in the July 2010 Awake Magazine.)

Most Bigfoot Sightings Between June and October Above 5000 Feet.

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "Group of 10 hears screams.":

Yes in fact most of the sightings in the Cascades are between June and October. Last year 21 sightings were reported by hikers and campers above 5000 feet. All of these reports came from Washington, Oregon, BC. It is thought the Bigfoot migrate between the Cascades and coast range when winter comes. This also probably explains why many sightings seem to be near well used roadways in the fall and spring.

Group of 10 hears screams.

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "Keep "Talking Bigfoot"":

Over this last weekend a group of us (10) went hiking and camping in the Mt Adams Wilderness north of Mt.St Helens. We became alarmed on Sunday night at 11:45 when from a distance we heard loud and long screams coming from a rock cliff far off to our right. These screams were not like a man or woman's. They were similar to the recorded sounds that a Sasquatch is said to make. The screams started at a very low growl and went to a horrendous pitch. We are all experienced hikers and know most of the sounds in the wild. These were not anything we've know. This continued until another scream answered the first one after about 3 minutes from much further away. We think that the one scream was calling the other one. We all agreed this must have been two Sasquatches nearby.
