Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

Thinking Bigfoot

photo: photoxpress

Why is it so difficult to get a few  "facts" on this animal? Why such a "circus" when a new sighting is reported? I'm thinking of this Mike who has a family of bigfoot camping in his backyard. If there was ever a thing that's unbelievable, this is it! It just sounds as if it isn't true. Can finding bigfoot be so easy? I hope Mike is telling the truth. I hope someone takes a photo of the happy family. I hope the family will let themselves be photographed so we bigfoot believers can get a good long satisfying look.

The photo represents all of us who believe in bigfoot. It's a free photo and to me the image is a good representative of a thoughtful individual pondering the above. ...Linda Newto-Perry

Mike says he is being visited by a family of bigfoot. We hope it is true!

A man, Mike, claims he is being visited by a family group of bigfoot/sasquatch. His name being Mike makes me wonder if this has anything to do with Autumn Williams' Mike in her new book ENOCH. You can go to The Bigfoot Field Reporter where you will be told how to listen to a radio show about Mike's encounter. (Scroll down to Links on this page and click The Bigfoot Field Reporter.)

I did not listen to the whole program. Many people believe this is all true. I don't know why we don't have photos of some kind by now if it is true. Perhaps if I had listened to all of the show, I would have my questions answered. Does Mike want money? (And I don't see what is wrong with that if he could use it.)

If you know more about this sighting, please keep us informed. ...Linda Newton-Perry

Again a great piece. In 1973 and 74, I was in the private sector doing a forestry survey for damage to culverts in the Illinois Wilderness out in Oregon. I worked along with USFS and some private land and timber owners near Cave Junction,Oregon. One day in particular I was talking to a USFS man and we were talking about the bigfoot sightings from all over the country. To my surprise he told me about this weird manlike thing that in 1962 was crushed by a tree. He said he did not work for USFS at that time but had seen photos of it and that some of the rangers still had in their possession.

He told me then it was what they think a "sasquatch" looks like. Then out of his wallet he pulled a small photo out and said "Take a look." I was amazed that the photo showed the remains of a large hairy creature of some sort under a tree. The eyes were still open and the face was not human or any animal as I know them. It was clear the thing had large human shaped hands and large feet like a human does only larger. The thing by the look of the body and face had been dead for some time.

Anyway, he said "Have you ever seen the film from California on TV?" I said I had seen a clip or two somewhere. Then he said "Well if that thing is a hoax then what in the hell is this?" He again raised the photo up.

The reason I bring this up is some have said this 1962 and the Patterson thing a hoax. If it is it started long ago before 1973. The thing I viewed on the photo was no hoax. It was as real a I am. From that day forward I believed in Bigfoot.I am not scared to come forward with this because the truth is just that, the truth
