Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

Potential Bigfoot Discovery in Virginia

Bigfoot is a subject of interest for so many people who are looking forward to his discovery and confirmation. Spotsylvania County in Virginia reveals that there have been over 14 sightings of Bigfoot in the past decade alone. Many people refer to this creature as Sasquatch, and there is even a campaign for the Sasquatch Watch of Virginia.

Of course, many people are skeptical of these hunts for the creature, but it's difficult to tell that to people who have had a true Bigfoot sighting. Several native Virginians reported seeing a large and shaggy figure walking on two legs on their property, which has spurred on the quest for an on-site expedition. Officials installed cameras in the area to take pictures of the potential Bigfoot in the hopes of confirming this long-term myth.

The myth of Bigfoot became popular in the 1960s, where there was film taken by two Californians of a large and hairy creature walking in the wilderness. In the circles interested in Bigfoot, this film is called the Patterson-Gimlin film, named after the creators.

Other people in this Virginia community disagree with these Bigfoot sightings, but there are enough Sasquatch enthusiasts to continue the investigation. If you too are one of the many people on edge in the hopes of a Bigfoot discovery, take heart that there are numerous people out there doing their part to find the creature. Hopefully, these sightings will soon come together for a legitimate Bigfoot confirmation, but until that time, we will keep waiting.

Interesting article on Bigfoot. What I'm thinking is FS does not want these two finding the Bigfoot or evidence of it. With this said it could be fate that FS is up there in droves but I believe they are monitoring Emery and Saxton. This mystery as people call it must be brought to light. It is just a matter of time when this Bigfoot and people have a very bad meeting. I have carefully looked into all the reports from this area of the Siskiyous and I'm reasonably certain that this is the Bigfoot that was seen near Merial on FS 3348 on June 2nd 2010.

The report was of a unusually large creature over 10ft in height and 1,000 lbs. It was also noted that the worker that seen this Bigfoot reported the big male creature had only one eye with the left one either gone or injured. The Bigfoot was reported as being very aggressive with the road grader operator that was eating lunch in a turnout. The creature threw a very large tree limb at the cab of the machine.

This report was handled by me and another FS person. I have it on good authority that this Bigfoot has been spotted near Coquille River Falls on June 5th. This is just below Sru lake turnoff and only 3 miles from the lake itself.

Thank you LT. It is good to have friends in FS. ...Linda Newton-Perry
