Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

Here in Powers the latest gossip is FS is not happy with those guys camped up there. One of the FS folks told me they feel Emery is trying to push them into going public with the Bigfoot sightings up at Sru. He said lots of the upper people in FS are quote "quite uneasy" about Emery and Saxton looking around for Bigfoot. FS was quite happy when the other search last year ended because of weather and accidents. I know all these FS people around here and I'll tell you their worried now about something.

Since Monday when I last updated on the search we have had a big rainstorm come in with over 4 inches of rain in a 14 hr period. Many of the roads are not passable now and many slid out.

 On Thursday afternoon a motorist saw what they believed to be bigfoot near the riverbank just 2 miles from our camp. The description is the same as the others coming from this area. The forest service has been up here since Tuesday surveying the river for debris, they say. It's funny that I don't remember them doing this before.

 We have not found any clear tracks yet but are hopeful. The Buck Creek site has had some damage done by unknown people? Sru is quiet as of today. My thoughts are as long as too many people are in this area the animal will stay away from all moving traffic.

 I walked the "Sru Trail" today looking for sign. Nothing seen of much interest. I did run into a black bear at 7am and one cougar around 10am. Seems something has the animals moving around other than me. It's time for another evening hike so will update Sunday.

 Cole is up in the Buck Creek area and I will stay here at Sru Lake and Bald Knob. One more note, I don't know if I'm getting skittish or if something is watching me. Seems I've had this feeling when I'm out walking the trail areas up here. The forest service does not seem too happy with the fact we're up here looking around.

This area is closed because of extremely dangerous conditions. This what the sign says at junction of USFS Road #33 and #3348. The USFS will not comment on what the conditions are. I called the district there and was told they have no current information available.

What we do know is something took place yesterday up in the area. We just can't find out what! We also know Emery and Saxton are camped up there.

Update for you: I have filed a FOIA with DOJ for legal compliance on the files in with DOI is currently holding. If this is successful it will force DOI to give DOJ all reasons DOI feels the files need to remain closed. If it is not successful then I will file a civil suit for complete disclosure.
