Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

Sighting, Bigfoot Sighting! May 9, 2010

Casey NWOR has left a new comment:

On Sunday May  [9th] 2010, Dory and Gus Lanford set out to gather firewood on a logging spur in the Tillamook forest. At 10am the two were getting ready to turn onto Cold Creek Rd. It was then Gus noticed something brown ahead of them moving up the road. This is when the couple got what Gus and Dory call "the shock of a lifetime."

It was plainly "not a bear" recalls Gus. This manlike thing about 7 ft tall was walking down the middle of the gravel road on two legs. We were very shocked to see this thing turn and look right at us. It then went over a bank and into the woods. The body was hefty built and the face was like some cross between a man and animal.

As they approached the place where the creature disappeared they got a very strong body odor smell. A quick look around for tracks on the bank and they left the area. One important factor they saw was the long arms on the creature. In the left hand of this creature was what Gus and Dory believed to be a "root ball" of some kind that the creature was clutching. "It was no doubt as scared as we were," explained Dory.

The sighting was reported to the police.

Joey was looking forward to the photo of the '62 Columbus Day Storm Animal. (He, Joey, gives me no peace.) LP

Julie Walton has left a new comment on your post ""Is this the CNN special being advertised finally?...":

There is no commercials running for the CNN bigfoot special yet. It has not been scheduled yet to run. What the lady saw is a run down of the fall schedule CNN is expecting to run as of May. It also said more is too be done on a recent discovery on a dead creature found in 1962 in Southern Oregon. Emery wants it to be included in the original special he did. He is currently working on getting the photo released through a legal agreements with the family copyrighted for them who holds it.
