Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.
One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).
And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.
Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.
We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened
Don't forget to tell Debbie from Rand Corp Group what you think of the tentative offer to let the '62 Columbus Day DOI file be opened to those of their choice with no photos being released. She is not in her office for a few days but she does check this blog. Check older post for details....Linda Newton-Perry
Until bigfoot is on the “books” as a being, we will continue to have differing views of exactly what the animal is. This is to be expected. Our life beliefs are based on the life we’ve each led. This would include formal and informal knowledge acquired; people we’ve known, both good and bad; experiences we’ve had, both good and bad. This line of reasoning could go on and on, so, I’ll stop here. You get the idea.
I appreciate when we receive on the blog, Bigfoot Ballyhoo, actual sighting reports. These people who have seen this being are few in number. We encourage them to be proud of their sighting and to talk about it. However, scoffing and ridicule is often the outcome. But just remember, this will not always be so; this “being” will be substantiated, because many are working tirelessly toward that end. It will probably be that bigfoot sightings will always be rare happenings, rare occurrences. You will always be a select group, so be proud and openly talk about it. I’d just say, remember the biblical admonition of throwing pearls before swine. Who needs scoffing and ridicule? We, after all, know what we’ve seen, know what we believe!
I too, have my beliefs. I have a deep faith and belief in a heavenly Being that has given mankind a set of 66 books organized into the Bible for our instruction, knowledge and comfort. This is my belief system, based on years of study. Why am I bringing this up at this time? I just want it clear where my thinking is on bigfoot. I believe bigfoot is an animal and not a lost link in a so-called evolutionary chain. Sure, many animal species can interbreed, some producing offspring, but there it ends for the offspring are sterile. And of course, animals have been given exquisite abilities to live, each one in its own environment. And many animals have been given the ability to adapt and change over time while others simply possess instincts that serve them well.
All that said, I “believe” we have a right to know about the being, bigfoot. We need to know he exists so that we can look for him while in the forest, to simply admire and if need be, to protect ourselves from him.

I write along with my husband Christopher Perry. We are the authors of a Viking Age Novel, Forced Blood The Norseman and several bigfoot children's books. I author the blog Bigfoot Ballyhoo. I'm a bigfoot believer and I hope the animal will be "found" soon.
Linda and Chris, we had great success last night and early this morning. Bigfoot came within 25 feet of me and Hank. We put out salt licks last night to see if the animal would try to take it and he did. I am enclosing a snap of #6 camera. DO NOT put it on the site yet. We don’t want another thing like last week. You may tell your readers of it though. All together we got 4 shots. They will have to all be enhanced but we believe all are very good. This shot was at 6 AM, Sunday Aug. 8, 2010. The image in the background is an old rotten cedar stump. Thanks for your support!
