Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

Sru Lake Anonymous says, "...something is VERY WRONG there."

Anonymous said...

Last Friday, I went up to the infamous Sru Lake to take pictures of the area. I was not going to say one word about what happened that day. Now I feel I must. At noon I was sitting on a picnic table at the lake, and out of the silence of the forest came the most hellish scream of something . The scream was so loud I thought whatever it was was right near me. Then after the commotion calmed down the sound of something beating a rock or branch against a tree . This completely unnerved me to the bone. I'm not a person to become frightened over much but this was too much. No cat alive can make a scream that loud and long. I have lived my entire life in Coos and know now something is VERY WRONG there. Something was just above the timberline walking around, because I could hear the twigs snapping as it moved around.

Police Officer's Wife Comments on License Suspension

Tosha has left a new comment on your post "Comment on Suspending Licenses for Reporting Bigfo...":

Being a wife of a cop sometimes is not something everybody can deal with. My husband was very happy when Oregon in its all of a sudden wisdom decided to stop prosecuting people who had seen bigfoot. My husband in 1989 saw bigfoot while patrolling the mountains of southern Oregon. Even though had been with the force for years he was made out to be a nut. He went through hell for months just because he had seen a animal that Oregon does not believe to be real. Finally after several months of doctors and the run around, he was cleared to go back to work only if he told the doctor he had seen a bear not bigfoot. We were dismayed when Oregon supposedly told a California based bigfoot researcher that quote "Oregon does not nor ever has done this despicable act". This we thought was a terrible lie to all of us. Then my husband found out that DMV was trying to cover it up. He then filed a formal complaint with the justice department in Oregon. Oregon any many other states used this deplorable practice for years. My husband and many other officers think people should still sue Oregon for the former practice because money alone will not take away the injustice to all the good folks that got their licences taken for doing the right thing

Comment on Suspending Licenses for Reporting Bigfoot (Yeah!)

Grant has left a new comment on your post "Just Checking: License Suspended for Reporting Big...":

I received a notice that my licence had UNJUSTLY BEEN SUSPENDED in 2004. Along with the notice I got a form to fill out on all cost to be paid back to me by DMV for the doctor and all filing fees. It said Oregon will no longer suspend beginning 2-6-2010 for reporting Bigfoot/Sasquatch.

Thank you for commenting. We are so glad to know this.

Just Checking: License Suspended for Reporting Bigfoot

We here at Bigfoot Ballyhoo would like to keep up with any news on licenses still being suspended for reporting bigfoot to the police. If you know of a case or it happened to you, please let us know.  It was our understanding that this is no longer happening. We have not heard a thing and so...Linda Newton-Perry
