More From Debbie on the 1962 Animal
Debbie has left a new comment on your post "Debbie Answers Ballyhoo's Question on the DOI File...":
The last one I worked on was a UFO case from 1957. At the end it was over $8,000 and we lost the case. Many cases are pending on bigfoot and UFO, with no results as of yet. These cases have been going on for 10 years or longer. The government knows people have limited money on what they can spend so the feds can go on to tie it up for years.

Thank you Debbie. So a person that is taken with bigfoot and has money to spend on his hobby could hire a lawyer and perhaps get the file of this animal made public? How exciting. I hope one of our readers will do just that. Please keep us informed of your progress. It sounds like you may be a lawyer? Don't feel you have to answer. ...Linda Newton-Perry

Yes if someone wanted to sue the feds for unjustification of classified filing then the court would intercede into a agreement with the plaintiff. It would be 99%in the feds favor at the time of notice of action to sue. If a person was to file the suit in the county in which the animal was found then they could ask for a jury trial. A person would have a chance at disclosure. Yes, I work for Rand Corp as a attorney for citizens rights.

Great! This is so helpful, Debbie. Again I do hope this will lead to bigfoot being "discovered" by law and put on the books as a real live animal. I'm sure we could get together many people who have seen the animal and would be willing to follow a good lawyer into court. Again thanks. Please keep commenting especially if you have ideas to help in this effort. ...LP
Debbie Answers Ballyhoo's Question on the DOI File on the 1962 Animal

Debbie has left a new comment on your post "Can you help us, Debbie?":
In my opinion the bones of the animal would not be viewable by non government personal. The very fact the file itself is still classified means the government has no intentions of turning it over to private individuals. A person could file written request with the department of interior to open the files to the public but in my experience this gets very costly quick. If the animal in question had been cataloged and classified as anything known, then a person could do a FOIA on the file. Being it was not the FOIA will not work because the file is sealed. There are currently 3,953 files classified as origin unknown and sealed. These files date from 1904 to 2008. I am still working on getting summation access to it and others.
____________
Thank you so much Debbie. So, if a person had the money they may be able to access the files? jumping through the right hoops, that is. LP
Virgina Adams, Comments on 1962 Animal
Virgina Adams has left a new comment: 1962 Creature and her Husband's Part in it.
William Emery sent me a letter to inform me my late husbands name was going to come up in this creature sighting of 1962. Guy was a ranger for the Illinois Ranger District of USFS from 1950 to 1974. Many times we talked about the creature found that day in 1962. My husband never thought is was a ape that the men found. He was told by USFS officials that's what it was. He believed till his death in 1982 that the creature was a Bigfoot, after we seen the film of the Bluff Creek in 1967. Before that he was not sure what it was. He had no participation in the removal of the animal past the first removal. He did what he was order to do by USFS out of Portland,Oregon. I thank Mr. Emery for his letter and thank you for letting me tell my husbands side of it.

Thank you so much for speaking out on this important subject. At least we "bigfoot believers" believe it is important. Please feel free to tell us more about what you two talked about regarding the animal. We love Bigfoot Talk!...Linda Newton-Perry

Can you help us, Debbie?
A Question for Debbie and Exhibit 4377
Dear Debbie,
In your best judgement how would one go about getting access to the file and bones if they exist?
This question in regard to Debbie's information below. ...Linda Newton-Perry
With a great deal of work on the old DOI files from that year, I have found what USDI classified as # exhibit 4377. This file is closed to the public and most certainly is the remains of the Columbus Day creature. The classified file in part reads" Species: unknown biped: date recorded: 3 /14 /63 Area:O'Brien-Dew Ridge . The bone structure specimen is unknown to DGDS analyses: Tissue samples indicate non human. Samples indicate non primate.
Conclusion: Sample is not consistent with any known species of animal/primate known. Seal per request noted.
A Poem and an Invitation to Comment
Please Comment. Share your thoughts on how to get the world to recognize that bigfoot exists.
A short poem:
In the far off hills, and the mountains tall
Live all God's animals, great and small
One that's hard to see, and little told in books
Is the massive animal, called by many, bigfoot
