Can anyone here give me information on Cedar Swamp, a lake about 5 miles from Sru. We was there in November 2009, and found large footprints 18 inches long and 7 inches wide. The footprints went from east to west and then switched directions.

The area was Eden Ridge? we think. Anyway, that night a commotion in the forest was frighting. The screams echoed through the forest of something with great power. We have been told that this lake is very close to Sru Lake. We had firearms with us but never seen anything. The sound of wood snapping was nerve racking. The very next morning we found more fresh tracks by a spur road next to the lake. This animal had apparently been watching us from this road as it clearly showed or camp.

We think this could be the same animal as over at Sru. If it is this thing is not scared of people. We sat by the fire all night because we felt any time this animal would come into camp. We put the kids inside the camper and told them not to open it for anybody. They were 15 and 16 so we thought them to be safe because our sons both knew how to use guns to protect themselves. This animal had to be huge in build because of the racket it made. We read a lot about Sru but nothing on Cedar Swamp.

This topic is a strange one. Many researchers say they have the evidence to make the Bigfoot a reality. Well I ask them to prove it. A website out of California claims to have vast knowledge of this elusive animal. I say show us the proof. What do you base your knowledge on? No one has ever caught a Bigfoot to study it. There is no bones or blood or hair to compare.

It's one thing to have a opinion, but not creditable when you try to say you've studied this animal extensively and know this or this. NABS out of California has made some very idiotic comments when they claim they have studied this creature over the last 6 years. I'm not beating up on them nor anybody. I'm just stating the fact that there is not one shred of evidence to make this legend a reality. These people lend more scrutiny to Bigfoot not a step in the direction of truth. Give us a clear photo and we'll talk.

In 1962 there wasn't that many people who knew about Bigfoot. I believe what happened here is a Bigfoot was found dead and many in the community took pictures. Then the government got hold of it, and somehow found out this was the same kind of thing Roger Patterson filmed later in 67.

 When the Bigfoot was shown on TV {Patterson's} then the government realized the one found in 62 was the same type of beast. The film has always been controversial so the government sealed the 62 animal in a back vault.

 I know some of you will not believe the government is so paranoid,but believe me that I know the facts on how these agencies operate. Im sorry to say I was in that group for many years.
