Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

A Bigfoot Sighting, Maybe

Guest Editor-Blogger: Anonymous
Regarding: a sighting, maybe

This is quite possibly what we saw this January on a forest road near Steamboat,Oregon. This thing with hair on it was ahead of us on Dry Creek Road . At first we thought it was a bear and then we noticed this bear was on two legs. It was too far away to make out any features on it but was very large at that distance away. My friend snapped a shot with a camera but just showed a blur when developed.

We believe it was bigfoot because it walked down the road for 25 ft then turned off the road. It was pavement so we didn't see any prints. The animal was too large to be a bear.

"A Matter of Time!"
(April 9, 2008 Newspaper Column)

April 3, I spoke before the Pen and Ink writing club of Roseburg. I confessed I write a column about Bigfoot. That was humbling! During the break, however, two of the members approached and we enjoyed exchanging ideas on bigfoot. I explained that it was simply a hobby of mine and that I believed the animal exists.

New on my favorite website (http://www.bigfootencounters.com/) author Tom Hughes reports Bigfoot hunter Paul Compton claims to have pictures of a yowie-like animal. He left a camera in the woods where activity had been reported and when he returned 900 plus photos had been snapped. A couple of the photos, he believes, show the animal clear enough to be proof. He lives in the Glen Iinnes District of New South Wales.

Dr. Henner Fahrenback from Oregon Regional Primate Research Center believes, according to the article, that the hair from this animal (yowie)  and the North American Bigfoot is identical.

Paul Compton will be speaking in October at the three-day Mid America Big Foot Research Foundation Conference in Oklahoma, USA. The article went on to say two commercial television crews were looking into the claims; it could be, we will see more on TV about Paul Compton's research and claims.

I'm a firm believer that bigfoot will only be seen in the wild when he's made a mistake; we've come upon him when he can't smell us, around a bend etc. I count this as a mistake along with the sightings of him walking across roads at night and caught in the beam of our car lights. Since I believe this and as much as I would love to see bigfoot, I don't believe I will spend much time walking the animal trails of our forests in hopes of glimpsing him. He has lived for who knows how long deep in the woods and high mountain forests undetected. It seems it is just a waste of time.

Talking to those that have seen the animal seems to me, however,  is a better use of my time.  So please do speak up, if you've seen the animal. Remember there is no way we know who you are when you comment here on this blog. Just don't tell us anything that one can use to identify you.  We here, on Bigfoot Ballyhoo, hunger for bigfoot sighting news.

The photo is indeed my coffee cup. I'm a novelist, children's writer,  columnist, and bigfoot believer. I wear heels much of the time and so does my coffee cup. So I'll stay in the office and leave overnighting in the wild to others. So talk away. Talk of any concern you have of bigfoot. It seems we are getting close to the animal being proclaimed a real, live forest animal. Yeah!
