Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

A Sighting Never Commonplace

"I'm gonna get myself in trouble here. . . ."

Regarding: "Picture of Fire Ring at Former Squaw Lake Campground."

I'm gonna get myself in trouble here. This animal needs to be killed as soon as possible. The reason I say this is this thing will eventually get someone. People will disobey the signs, try to sneak in and bingo you've got a death. We would down any other animal that acted in this matter, why not a bigfoot? I think the USFS is irresponsible by not dealing with this crazy thing right now. The USFS is fully equipped to handle this situation.

As for reporting bigfoot to the police what do you want us to do, change the report about what the persons saw? We have to mark on the report to re-evaluate if it's bigfoot related by law.

This is a older pic of the former Squaw Lake campground. One of these fire rings was hung in a tree over 10 ft off the ground. The FS told me they weigh in excess of 300 lbs and are buried 1 ft deep in the ground.

Can you please sound out for us how Sru is pronounced. Is it shrew?...Thanks Linda Newton-Perry

Sru Lake to be Closed

Regarding: Anybody know more details?

Lots of talking about the Sru Lake creature around here. As a member of the search group that went in to look for the suspect, people need to know what they're up against. If they try to enter this area they will no doubt be arrested. The late Dale Saxton and volunteers found tree destruction all over the mountain. Some was as high up as 16 feet. This creature is believed by all to be extremely dangerous to people. As a biologist I know a little about moody animals. This one is more like total rage than anger. There has been much talk about people trying to get into the area to get a picture of this thing. This is crazy thinking. I simply can't discuss why I know this, but believe me when I say your in danger if you try this. Powers RD will close this lake because we cannot guarantee safety there. A regional supervisor will make the closure this week.

Chased by Bigfoot!

 Regarding: "Anybody know more details?"

The Hamilton family was the ones who were camped at Squaw lake on 2008, July. it is well known inside the agency that the little 12 year old girl was chased by this Bigfoot. The forest service didn't want it told. Mrs Hamilton had to grab the girl and scream to get the Bigfoot to back up. The father shot off a loud firework to scare it away enough to get the family inside the truck. I will not give my source or name

If the Bigfoot would have wanted the girl, he would have grabbed her. They think he was toying with her. Where the crime is the FS trying to keep it quiet. Yes, this is not the first time this particular beast has came very close to several folks. The lake is not a money maker for FS so they will probably close it permanently. If you know just how the heck to get it to leave and not come back without killing it say so. People were UP IN ARMS when they thought the latest search group was going to kill it.

Anybody know more details?

I had heard from a source inside USFS the Hamilton family encounter At Squaw Lake was much worse than told. Is there anybody that knows all of it?

This is not Sru Lake

Regarding: Changing the name . . . will not stop the damage...."

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know what is happening at Sru Lake. Before Dads death he told the FS that the creature would certainly come back to the area. They knew as early as 2008 they where dealing with a bigfoot and that this particular creature is not a happy go lucky type. Dad and Bill both urged the FS to keep the campground closed because of the type of damage that was done.

It showed this bigfoot is not scared of humans and would certainly return to that area over time. The recommendation was overridden by politics. Now they have a big problem because it can no longer be kept silent about the trouble up there. Bill said the FS told them they would entertain the idea after a few months.

When the group did not find this creature the FS announced the reopening of the lake. We must try to understand the USFS is driven by politics, not the best thinking. USFS told Dad they couldn't and wouldn't MAKE PUBLIC the fact that they are dealing with a bigfoot type creature here. So the saga continues. Dad and many others felt this creature would kill if given a chance to.

I believe the FS will be putting people in great danger if they reopen that campground and lake.

Thank you for this information. The public needs to know so much about this animal. We need to keep talking about it. Thanks again. . . . Linda Newton-Perry
