Bigfoot Ballyhoo: Feb 24, 2010

Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

Feb. 18, Several People say Police Officer Sights a Bigfoot in Tyee area of 138

People that were listening to the police scanner last Thursday night at 10 pm in Douglas county heard a policeman call his dispatcher with a Bigfoot sighting. For over an hour there was much activity on the scanner. It was in a remote area of Tyee on Oregon 138

All I know is there's a bridge that crosses the river at or near Tyee. It is a long concrete bridge. Somewhere up that road a DCC had a sighting of a bigfoot. I'm sorry I didn't get the name of the road. It seems to me there is a forest road just past or before Tyee as you leave Sutherlin or there abouts. If you can locate the bridge then you've got it. It was about 7 miles up that road. The sheriffs department told me "Its none of my business" so I couldn't find out much.

Cliff Barackman's Mini-Expedition

Cliff Barackman of the North American Bigfoot Blog went on a mini-expedition last weekend. Read about it.
Here is paragraph from the post.
"To help the sasquatches be curious enough to come in for a look, we hung several attractants nearby. Toby brought glow sticks, which he tied to apples and hung in trees across the road from our camp. We tied another to a dead shad and hung them both in a tree near our tents. Aimed at the fish was a heavily camouflaged Reconyx RC60 game camera."

36 Bill Emery, Parchell sighting

Linda and Chris, we had great success last night and early this morning. Bigfoot came within 25 feet of me and Hank. We put out salt licks last night to see if the animal would try to take it and he did. I am enclosing a snap of #6 camera. DO NOT put it on the site yet. We don’t want another thing like last week. You may tell your readers of it though. All together we got 4 shots. They will have to all be enhanced but we believe all are very good. This shot was at 6 AM, Sunday Aug. 8, 2010. The image in the background is an old rotten cedar stump. Thanks for your support!
