Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

Chasing Bigfoot: Dale Saxton and Bill Emery

Bill Emery has left a new comment on your post "Dale Saxton 1932-2010":

It was January 4th, we received a call about a bigfoot sighting on the Rogue River. The area is located in the canyon above and somewhat near Agness, Oregon. The report came from the owner of a lodge on the Rogue River. Dale and I went to the reporter's home and then went to Paradise Lodge.

A man had seen a large bigfoot up from the lodge near an old cabin of Zane Greys. He reported that two bigfoots had been seen just a month earlier near the same place. We hiked in on foot looking for signs. As we neared the cabin, we heard what appeared to be a cry of something unknown to us. Dale decided we would split up and move into the timber behind the cabin.

As we started in we caught a most disagreeable smell. We could hear the brush popping ahead of us seemingly only 200 ft or so. Dale motioned for me to turn slightly to the east of him. We both got within 100 feet of something very heavy leaving the area. We could not make anything out as it was very dense with small trees.

Dale and I were at a dead run and still couldn't get any closer to the thing. After 1/2 hr of chasing this thing it went up a steep cliff face and was gone. We thought for sure we were going to get a good photo, but were wrong. We found several places where the limbs of small trees had been pulled up, just like Squaw Lake. We were sure the Squaw Lake bigfoot had moved into this area as it is only about 20 miles from the lake.

We went back to check the motion cameras a week later and nothing was on them. Dale would want me to share these reports with all of you. I will be glad to. I am now living in Coquille so hope to keep it up!

For all the Family THANKS

Cole Saxton has left a new comment on your post "In Memory of Dale Saxton":

Dad would be very proud of the nice remembrance of him. He would also want us to continue the bigfoot search. Bill and I will try and write often here on ballyhoo. Dads death is a shock to us all. Our family is coping with it as best we can as of now. For all the family THANKS.
