Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

Bigfoot Investigator, Dale Saxton, Dead at 78

Dale Saxton

Guest Editor-Blogger: Bill Emery

This is no doubt the worst day of my adult life. Dale Saxton died this afternoon in surgery for lung cancer and a blood clot at age 78. Dale would want all of us to keep up searching for bigfoot. I will. Dale will be cremated and ashes spread over the mountains in which he so dearly loved. At his request no services will be held for him. On behalf of his wife Marsha, daughters Mary,Tonya, Cheryl and twins Kari a Cole, youngest Axel and his 14 grandchildren and 6 great grand kids we want to thank the Perry's and the ballyhoo group for all the best wishes. Cole, Hank and I will continue to post bigfoot reports here. Dale is in a better place!

____________

Thank you, Bill, for letting us know.

Bigfoot Sighting in Dora, Oregon, Jan. 2010

Guest Editor-Blogger: Bill Emery

Dale was interviewing a man and woman near Dora, OR on a sighting that took place in January 2010. The lady was fixing dinner in the kitchen when she looked out the window and saw a large hairy manlike animal taking off with a chicken.

She yelled at her husband and he ran outside to see what was going on. When he got to the chicken shed he noticed large tracks and several eggs broken on the dirt floor. He found where something had eaten eggs, shell and all. Two chickens were dead and one missing. The ranchers are sure it was a bigfoot that they saw, walking off with the cluck. The rancher found his German Shepard dog under the front porch curled up and whining. The ranch is in a very rural part of the valley with one neighbor one mile to the south.

__________

Thank you Bill Emery. Is there a chance we can get a photo of you, a head shot? And too, did Dale get the CNN project completed? Thank you, again. Perhaps you can tell us about some of your field outings. We would love to hear about them. Linda Newton-Perry

Thanks to Ballyhoo

Dave Rondeu has left a new comment on your post "We are Thinking of You, Dale Saxton":

I want to thank Linda Perry and this blog for the best wishes for my father-in-law Dale. I am married to his oldest daughter Mary. We hope for the best outcome of this tragic news. Dale is a fighter so we feel he will beat this disease. As Bill Emery told you yesterday, Dale will not be able to look for the big guy for a while but we know he will be reading ballyhoo as often as he can.

Dales got bigfoot in his blood.

Shout Bigfoot!

We are Thinking of You, Dale Saxton

Thinking of Dale Saxton
Friends of bigfoot/sasquatch, this blog has been very quiet since the announcement that our friend, Dale Saxton, is ill and is facing a long road to recovery. I would like to make this blog a special place for him to come each day and enjoy the subject he has devoted so much of his time over the past years.

So, let us resolve to "keep talking bigfoot";  no let me take that back, let's keep shouting-out information that can not be ignored by unbelievers. This, I'm sure, will  cheer our friend on to recovery and to keep him excited about our beautiful earth that teems with noble animals, bigfoot/sasquatch one of them.

We are thinking of you, Dale Saxton, and of your family. Please comment when you feel like cheering us.
