Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

Hello Readers,
I've been busy at Squaw Lake. We did not find what we were looking for yet, but got evidence of a Bigfoot in the area. We put out cameras hopefully to take a picture of it; also put some bait up, fruit, 10 feet in tree. Also we heard some cries that we believe to be one. We're going back next week, weather permitting. Here are some pictures for your blog.

Report on Decomposed Bigfoot Body

Guest Editor-Blogger: Greg
Regarding Brandy's comments
There was an unknown type of animal found by a Griffy and Laird crew on 11/'62 while removing wind blown trees from a Greyback spur road. If I remember right they shipped it off to the Department of Interior for autopsy. The animal was badly decomposed at the time. It was said that it was much too big for a bear.

Also the report stated that it had hands and feet resembling a human's but of a larger size. You can get this information under the Freedom of Information Act. I do not have any photos of it anymore as they were sent with the report to DOI. As I remember the photos were not all that good. The animal had been dead for a month at the time of discovery.

Does the Smithsonian Institution have the body of a Columbus Day Storm Bigfoot?

Returning Guest Editor-Blogger: Brandy

Yes it was light. And I was shocked. The night it happened there was lightening all over in the sky. I think that's why it was out in the open.

By the way, my boss was telling me back in Oct. of 1962 a great storm hit Oregon called The Columbus Day Storm. Anyway, he said thast some men who were clearing wind-fell trees off a logging road found a Bigfoot dead under a downed tree. He said it was decomposed to the point where they first thought it was a mutated bear, until they saw hands on it instead of paws.

The thing was much larger than a bear and had a face of a human and ape. He said the Smithsonian Institute has it. Have you ever heard of it?

No, Brandy, I have not heard of it. Do you know if photos are availabe? Could you ask your boss to look at this site and perhaps add a comment about it. How exciting!

Additional comments from Brandy:

Yes, I will ask him. Also, I think there were black and white pictures taken of it. It was found on Greyback near O'Brian on the Oregon and California border.
