Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

For Your Information

Just so you will know:  I have not asked Debbie for any proof that she is a real live person or that she holds a position that would allow her to get the Columbus Day File opened to the public. I'm a truthful person and I believe from all Debbie's comments that she is as well. ... Linda Newton-Perry

____________
I say if you really want to know about Debbie, use the search tool and research her comments and comments about what others have said about her. ...LNP

Comment from Debbie: Older post
Linda and readers: In general I don't like to engage in personal attacks or accusations by people. I work for RCG as a consultant attorney. The position I hold is corporate LLC in Washington DC. I am working on this case from 1962 for the people as a whole whom wish to get all information on closed case files regarding bigfoot. With this said, I cannot use RCG documents for my own personal use so I do this on my own expense and time. I'm really am not happy with some of the accusations made against me by people who have no idea who I am and what I'm trying to accomplish. I will not stop using my experience to get the whole truth on this perplexing case. Remember I promised nothing except I would try to get these files open. This I will continue to do. Thanks for all the continued support from the readers.

So what you're saying is Debbie could be Bubba sitting at his monochrome computer screen pretending he is a woman.

Exactly, it seems alot of things on this blog are taken at face value and then they wonder why people question it all.

Seems that the 'hit dog' is hollering lately. There are multiple comments on several posts, all snarling about Debbie of Rand corporation, and her efforts to break loose the official reports of bigfoot creatures. One commenter even called her "Debbie Randi". Not sure what that signifies!

But I can make guesses about why they're upset. Between the powerful scientific evidence that the ESP team has secured, and the documents that have been hidden for more than 40 years, the public information about the hairy giants is going to change. It will be a radical change. Many of the books that have been written will be instantly out of date and useless. (No more sales) Most of the blogs that are maintained by and for armchair researchers will lose their support groups. (No more donations) The hit dog is hollering.

As could anyone who signs their posts "Anonymous". I know which I think is more likely...

"Powerful scientific evidence"?! NO evidence (powerful or not) has even been released yet. So, I don't see how you can make that statement.

Anonymous above is right, Debbie could be anybody. I should think that Linda at least would have verified Debbie's credentials before proceeding with this any further.

I want evidence to prove the existence of BF just as much as the next guy, but not to the point of suspending reality!

I wrote the original comment yesterday. Everyone has taken my critique completely wrong. I am only thinking of Linda and the blog and how it is under intense scrutiny right now. My intention was to urge caution and nothing further.

Let's look at two posted statements:
"With this said, I cannot use RCG documents for my own personal use so I do this on my own expense and time." Debbie

"After talking with other attorneys in our group and also doing some fact finding, the Rand Corp Group will do a preliminary investigation into the possibility of getting the DOI file open for public view." Debbie

Which is it? It's officially undertaken by herself or by her supposed law group I can't figure it out.

Please google Rand Corp Group. If you can find them, your a better googler than I.

If Debbie would care to post a scan of some official DOI communication she has received as part of her investigation (with personal info blocked out ofcourse) I will gladly eat my words and apologize for my skepticism.

It not up to Linda or I to confirm anything with Debbie. She has worked from the start with no fees and have promised nothing. this is it folks: If you want to confirm someone is working for free do it on your own blog not here. I am so tired of the bunch of thankless people that from time to time come here with their negativity . This Debbie is NOT working for me or Linda. She is working for a non-profit group that looks into documents and other covered files. If you want to do it on your own go for it, just don't come here to stir.

All you wanna be sleuths : If you don't like what this Debbie has done or you don't believe she is who she says I say do it on your time and see what you get. Free is Free and it doesn't give anyone the right to snoop on her.

I am sorry to bring strife to this blog. I will keep my skepticism and opinions to myself from now on. Good luck with your research.

To Anon who thinks he caused strife; Ballyhoo offers all posters the status of anonymous so there is no reason for snickering, interrogation, etc. if you report a sighting. Those conditions have been the standard for those persons reporting a sighting and have caused embarrassment and stress to witnesses and that's wrong. The flip side of anonymous status is all is taken at face value, good, bad, or indifferent but it all comes out in the wash, so to speak. Just like the ESP Team that will be resolved when all evidence is posted here, Debbie will be resolved when and if she posts the approval of or the rejection of all her work. As for me the reader I have invested nothing but time, no money, no effort, no resources, so I have nothing to lose and everything to gain by having a little faith and trust. I can afford faith and trust and they are sadly lacking in today's society.

I am anon #3 from 1:17pm.

I'm not attacking anyone or demanding anything. I'm suggesting that everyone be cautious and wait. Assuming everything that is posted on this blog as the gospel without concrete evidence to back it up is not very wise.

And yes, if I was going to promote, condone and report on the activities of someone claiming to be from the Rand Corp. on my blog, I would want to confirm that persons identity.

I want Debbie to be real and I want the documents to be real. I want the pics from the ESP Team to be of real BF and to knock our socks off. But I'm not going to blindly assume all of the above to be true just because somebody said so. I need something more tangible if you want me to take all of this more seriously.

To 'Anonymous' @ 1:17 and 10:52: "I need something more tangible if you want me to take all of this more seriously."

Peculiar! If you were to decide to take the statements on this blog more seriously, how would that affect the ESP project? Or Debbie's project? Would your grudging admission of reality speed up the DNA tests? Once your 'needs' have been met, will you cheer on Debbie's work on the FOIA project?

While we wait for the lab work, I hope you won't mind if some of us snicker (quietly, of course) at your form of logic.

Macy, your blindness to logic and personal attacks on those who don't agree with you amazes me.
