Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.
One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).
And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.
Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.
We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

For Fun
I hate it when you come to visit and don't say anything. PLEASE COMMENT!
My knowledge of the so called Sru Lake bigfoot was passed on by earlier reports and conversations with Dale Saxton in 1977 and a forest employee of the Siskiyou National Forest. Back then they called him the brush man up there. We know it's not the same creature because the original one was light brown and female. The reports kept coming from that region and was labeled as misidentification of a known forest animal. It made no sense to me or others that all of these people were seeing a very large bear. Then in 1985 a well known logger in this county called Saxton and told him of a huge upright biped type animal or wildman that was watching his crew string out yarding lines on a ridge. The crew was all in agreement that it was no bear but some kind of wildman/bigfoot. When Emery joined Saxton in searching for bigfoot. It was the main goal of the two men to find out what these loggers had seen. Also Saxton in the 1970s had found large footprints on a construction road he was building about 10 miles from the reported sighting. He never saw what made them but was positive it was no hoax because of location and steel gate at the entrance of the new timber access spur. When he met Emery on a logging job near Merlin ,Oregon when he ask Bill to join his search. The conversation started when Emery told Saxton of large footprints and his ripped apart chainsaw he found over the cliff on Emery's cutting job. Meanwhile the reports were coming in at maybe 2 a year of this strange beast up at the Squaw lake area. By then Saxton and Emery felt this was probably the best place to setup a camp and watch for this thing. They were sure that this bigfoot would be seen again because of it non fear of people. So as you can see this has been a ongoing thing for Saxton and Emery for some time. It was just recently that one report we recieved made us take notice of the area. Though I can't discuss what was in that report I can say it got Bill's attention very quick. Before Saxton's death he told Emery of a person he needed to talk with. After Saxton's death this old hunter told Emery of the bigfoot mistaken for a bear he had shot by mistake. Then Emery started going through the reports and found the Hamiltons story and once again interviewed them. He was then positive this same bigfoot was still in the area around that lake. More to come!
It still blows me away, how anyone can shoot something without first finding out what they are shooting at. I've been hunting for over 36+ years and I have always known what I was looking at before shooting at it.
Least the hunter came clean instead of saying nothing. Over 32 years ago I saw what I thought was a brown bear scratching bark of a tree when it walked off on two legs. No I didn't shoot it but could have made the same mistake and will admit it too.
Thank you, Hank. I found the comment that I had lost with Kevin's help. Whew! I wanted it for the Bigfoot Premise Adventure. Hank did you take pictures of you guys that you can share?
Chapter One and can't wait for chapter two. It's really good to know the background on how this all got started and how many years you've been at this. It will make for a complete understanding of all of you when the evidence and pictures are realeased. Thanks Hank
As I proceed with the story I remember first meeting Emery with Saxton on a mountainside I was cruising for Moore Mill and Co. It was in March or April of 1986 when I ran across these bare footprints from something unknown to me. I remember telling a fellow that some old nut is running around up here in the snow. He ask me if I had ever heard of bigfoot. I said of course I had but really hadn't paid allot of attention to the stories. Well, this fellow said"you better start paying attention". I smiled thinking I was going to get a bad joke from him. Then he said do you know Dale Saxton and I replied "yes" I do. Then he proceeded to tell me about the old stories of Azalea Lake from back in the forties. This kind of made me think about the fact I am working on Rock Creek just above the old lake site. After I got home that evening I called Dale up and ask him to look at these tracks id found. We agreed to meet at the campground on Saturday morning. When he got there he had Bill Emery with him. I was impressed with the two men right away. There demeanor was right and they made me feel quite comfortable around them. I showed the track to Dale and Bill and they both looked at each other and said" its are boy OK" I said what do you mean by that and Saxton started telling me of their quest for this strange animal. I was so impressed with the way these two talked with me I ask if they needed extra help. Emery said the pay is terrible (meaning $0) but the two wanted my expertise in forest animals on their team. I agreed to join them part time and then after Saxton's death I had then retired so I wanted to fill a void in the team. Emery is one of the most thoughtful people I've ever met. Soon I was going to reported sightings with him and Dale's son Cole. I've learned allot about bigfoot through the stories and reports Emery shared with me. Then this latest hunt for bigfoot came along. Emery though the success rate was good that we could get a look at this bigfoot. Well let me tell you one can't make him or her ready for such a meeting. When it came down that trail I was about to have a heart attack from the smell and size of the bigfoot. Though I stayed completely still I still wasn't sure this bigfoot wouldn't take me down and stomp me in the ground. I have to say Bill didn't look much better than me. He was quite a bit closer to him, but the bigfoot didn't see him though he certainly must have smelled both of us because he looked around and pulled his head back and seemingly sniffed the air. Then he walked behind a small tree and disappeared back into the trees. Cole might have been out on the trail with us but was coughing from a case of bronchitis so it was important for him to stay in camp. We all though the bigfoot had been watching us from the trees around the camp for days. Anyway this is how I became a bigfoot researcher and became one of the lucky ones!
Bill will be back from a needed rest on Tuesday. I'm sure he will share his thoughts with all of you. Over the last few weeks they have became tired and in bad need of some rest. Have a good safe weekend. I would like to thank Hank for his fond memories of Dad and Bill.
Hank thank you so much . Now if we can persuade Cole to share his we would be about 1/2 way there ! Cole I am a little hesitant to ask this but if it is not too painful perhaps you could speak for your Dad . I came upon the Ballyhoo just after your Dad passed on . I think his part of the story needs to be added . I am not sure but it seems to me he was the catalyst that started this remarkable adventure . Feels to me he and Bill were partners . Feel free to ignore me or tell me to mind my own business if I am out of line . Hank may I have your permission to add your story to my journal/data base ? It will not be publicly available . It will how ever be shared with people privately . Let me know I will not copy it until you say it is ok . I will ask the other members of your team as, or ,if they respond . Times like this I realize how inadequate my communication skills are with just the written word . Cole I hope I expressed the respect and empathy I feel on this subject .
Please feel no need to be hasty Cole or Bill . Rest up get your legs underneath you . I look forward to any response . I truly find this a captivating and remarkable story .
I guess I should start my story in 1968. January of that year I was born to Dale and Marsha Saxton in Kalispell Montana. Mom and dad lived there along with my four sisters and one brother. When I was 5 years old my Uncle Don and dad started building roads in Alaska and we moved to Anchorage. Then uncle Don was killed in a bulldozer accident and dad left Alaska for Oregon and started His business called Timber Roads Co. We moved to a town called Myrtle Point. I remember the day dad found the line of tracks on Wilder Creek road. From then on it seems dad was bigfoot bound. Dad was a quiet man with a great sense of humor. He was the type of dad that never raised his voice at us kids. He would simply look at us and say nothing which was quite effective. He was moms best friend along with her soul mate. At the age of twelve dad started taking me out on jobs with him. He taught me how to run his D8 cat and how to blade a road with a 12E grader. My brother Axle and I went everywhere with dad it seems as mom was busy with the girls in the family. Then one day for reasons unknown to me dad decided that someone should start looking into the reports of these strange creatures they called bigfoot. He had ask around and found that very few people was interested in looking for them at that time. So he started getting some old reports from people that had heard about him through word of mouth. Then 1985 rolled around and dad met this tree faller on a job in the Galice Ranger District. That logger was Bill Emery. Bill and dad struck up a immediate friendship. Soon Bill was on the bigfoot rollercoaster with dad. Why I say rollercoaster is because of all the laughter and rumors about dad looking for the hairy monster was about. Bill quickly became a new found uncle to me. He seem to think like dad did and could care less what people said about the two. After highschool was over I decided to help with the search. Between college and bigfoot I stayed busy. Will continue later.
Cole, I loved your part of the story today. The "bigfoot rollercoaster" and laughter are telling phrases of people who have a great sense of humor and know that sometimes you can take yourselves and your quest to seriously. It tells me your dad, Bill, you, and Hank have perspective. What a good attribute to have in quest for an lengenday elusive, mysterious animal. Thanks so much
Cole I really appreciate your willingness to share your dads side of the story with us look forward the rest of it . I would like to ask the same question of you that I did Hank . When you are done with the post may I copy it and add it my journal ? I am keeping one on my interest in these creatures . My older kids think I am nuts and often ask me what I am thinking when I research and now look for this animal . It will never be posted on the net or made available in any public way . It will be made available to friends. Family that wonder wth is he thinking will be encouraged to read it .
I write along with my husband Christopher Perry. We are the authors of a Viking Age Novel, Forced Blood The Norseman and several bigfoot children's books. I author the blog Bigfoot Ballyhoo. I'm a bigfoot believer and I hope the animal will be "found" soon.
Linda and Chris, we had great success last night and early this morning. Bigfoot came within 25 feet of me and Hank. We put out salt licks last night to see if the animal would try to take it and he did. I am enclosing a snap of #6 camera. DO NOT put it on the site yet. We don’t want another thing like last week. You may tell your readers of it though. All together we got 4 shots. They will have to all be enhanced but we believe all are very good. This shot was at 6 AM, Sunday Aug. 8, 2010. The image in the background is an old rotten cedar stump. Thanks for your support!

I see 4 men, and I include the late Dale Saxton, that are dedicated and a little bit of daredevils. WOW
