My wife and I were camping up around Three Sister's, Oregon this past weekend. We camped on the back side of Big Lake near Hoodoo mountain. On Saturday evening we were walking our dogs at the back of the lake. This is a marshy area just behind the lake. We were looking at all the deer tracks that looked like they were coming in to water there and we stumbled upon these strange tracks. the area did not appear to have any one else around. We walked a good mile back in there so I'm pretty sure no one was there. Plus it was just a set of tracks, like someone or something just came out of the woods, got a drink and went back in the woods.
I put my foot next to it for size comparison(My boot is a size 11"). Anyway, I've been an avid hunter and outdoors man since I was a little boy and have spent all my life in the woods and this is the first for me. I've always wanted to see a "feet" as my wife calls them. We know we are not alone in the woods. Thank you for letting me share this with people that are interested in them and have had past experiences . You have my permission to post the pic's.
Thank you

That was the only print we found. It was real grassy around the area. It's like it stepped there for a moment and then walked back through the grass. We spent a litte over an hour looking around for more but nothing, just that one footprint.
My wife couldn't believe it. It's put a whole new set of questions into our lives now. I can't wait to get back up there. I think I might know where they are hanging out, just ran out of time.

Wow! Great print. Looks squatchy to me. You can see where the mid-tarsel break sucked the mud up at the midpoint of the foot. The heel is wide compared to the rest of the foot, showing the proportion to be less human. The toes looked short, and appeared to have longer toenails, than normal, but not like long claws that a bear would be. I'd have been very excited to find these! Hopefully Mr. Emery can give his opinion
The photos appear to be the same track. Is there more pics of the other foot? Would love to see them side by side to get an idea of how they laid out in a trail. How exciting.

Well could be a bear, but I am inclined to think otherwise. There are sightings in that general area.
You can see them on BFRO or one of the Bigfoot sights.(Can't remember, seen so many). Anyway would be worth looking further into. Good Job! It would have been nice to see the other tracks it left. Might be lil'squash. Even so, looks heavy by the depth of the impression.
Near big lake are flattopped Hayrick, Maxwell & Hoodoo Buttes...Back in the nineties, a Fish & Game plane which was stocking trout in lower elevation lakes flew over these buttes which still had snow on them...The pilot saw tracks on one of them, flew low & saw that they were hundreds of Bigfoot tracks going in many directions..He described it as a "bigfoot highway"...Story was, of course, never talked about publically....Presumably the FAA didn't jerk his pilots license......
Linda, I see you live in Sutherlin..On the Umpqua, downstream from you past the tiny Umpqua store, ( now a bakery run by
Buddhists) the river curves to the north just past where Hubbard creek enters...On the west side is a huge steep forested ridge which looms over the river...Know some folks who live down near there..They've said that in the fall of most years since they've been there,(20 years) they've heard Bigfoot screams coming down off that ridge in the wee hours of the morning...
My opinion is, sir you found a track of a juvenile Bigfoot.
To anonymous about Sutherlin area. Yes, I know we have sightings around Sutherlin. I go out to that store to buy organic. I of course look up to the mountains and remember bigfoot could be there. Thanks for the comment. Linda
