Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

Bill Emery and How He Became a Bigfoot Investigator.

I will start my story in Wyoming. I was born there and grew up on our cattle ranch outside Cody. At that time the Emery Ranch ran 530 head of cattle. My dad died at 39 years old of an infection from a piece of farm machinery. My mother and three brothers and I ran the ranch from then on.

In 1967 after I left the service I moved to Coos Bay,Oregon and began logging. I worked for different outfits for 3 years. And then I started my own contract cutting business. After a couple years I met Dakota. She was working for GP as a bookkeeper at that time. We married after a short time and moved to Otis, Oregon because of work. In 1983 my work took me to Alaska. I didn't like it up there because of the cold though the country was great.

1985 came and we moved back to Oregon. In that year I was on a cutting job in Josephine County when one morning I went to work to find these large bare footprints on the side of the mountain I was working on. I followed them for about a half mile down this steep hillside. The trail of tracks was clear. Then I found where something had torn my saw apart. The handle was ripped off and bar was bent in a 45 degree angle. It was everyone's practice back then to leave the saws on the job at night so we didn't have to pack them in every day. I was just at a loss for words to explain how this happened. The prints were clear and deep. They must have been 17 inches or larger. The prints had five toes in each track. I had never seen such tracks before.

Anyway a road contractor was building the road into the area that I was cutting; I told him of my find. That guy was Dale Saxton. He looked at me and said "Found the same thing myself one time."  I asked him if he ever found out who made them and he replied "No, but I'm still looking!" I said "Still? He said “Yep." Then he asked are you familiar with the name Bigfoot?

I explained I had but didn't believe in it too much. Well long story short, he told me he was looking for Bigfoot . After a couple days I decided that his explanation of the track had merit, so I told him I would like to know more about his search. That started a long friendship between us. When we returned to the coast he invited me over to look at his cast and other evidence.

I had to admit it was a mystery to me how this Bigfoot thing could remain so under reported. Now the years have passed and I have a better understanding of how and why this thing can remain out of sight from most people.

I'm not in this for money or fame. On the contrary, I like my privacy like everyone. I have no goals to become famous or well known in the Bigfoot world. My final goal is simple: People need the truth about Bigfoot and the government needs to quit playing around with the current evidence that show them real.

Glad to hear how you became a bigfoot researcher. I must say if my husband had found a tool destroyed like your saw he too, would still be looking for the culprit. Funny how small things can spark a lifelong quest to answer a mystery and so many question. You are right, people deserve the truth. Thanks Bill.

raMr. Emery,
Thank you for sharing your story. I've seen other so called "Bigfoot websites" speculating about what ya'll are doing. Some say that ya'll aren't real people and all this is just a made up story for a blog's sensationalism and fame. I only hope these skeptics are forced to eat their words! I've been keepin up w/this story since day one and am banking on ya'll's story and evidences truth. Please don't let everyone down. I have a feeling you won't. I know men like you and their word is their bond and means more to them than any piece of paper, certification, diploma, etc. Thank you for you and your team's hard work, it is greatly appreciated.

Mr. Emery,

I am one of the dreaded skeptics who needs to see more verified documented evidence than speculation and rumors of proof when it comes to the subject of Bigfoot. Team Emery's story is intriguing and I sincerely look forward to the release of your Bigfoot information to perhaps move me on from Skeptic to Believer.

Best of luck to you and Team Emery and thank you for sharing your quest with Bigfoot Ballyhoo where everyone can read it, even us Skeptics.

what website reports these guys are fakes? How do they know this? are they some kind of super sleuths" I need a laugh.

There is not one thing, in my opinion, wrong with being skeptical. It seems it is a normal condition with we humans. It simply means you haven't been shown enough proof. Keep reading Bigfoot Ballyhoo for soon you are sure to become a "bigfoot believer."

Thank you for everything Sir. Did you attempt to do any audio recordings? Thanks so much.

It should have been with us humans. I hate it when my proof reader, my husband, is at work.

Just a comment to Anonymous..... Bill talked about how he wanted to preserve his privacy, but you mentioned a website where you could find his address???? I'm just thinking that should be taken off of the comment board in respect to Bill. I'm sure you didn't do it intentionally, but I'm just thinking it would be better if some people didn't see that.

The concerns of Sierra Tahoe of the impact the acknowledgement of bigfoot could potentially have on Oregon are very real but I truly believe from the minute ESP Team's evidence is released the focus and concentration should be, not local, but absolutely national. There are footprints casts and sightings, and scat analysis from Ohio, Florida, Texas, etc. etc. By focusing national they're going to have to shut down beef ranches and oil fields in Texas, orange groves and seasonal farms in Florida, and farming in Ohio. Actually the list is longer but that's just an example. Always look at the overall picture and not localize. In other words you can't have Oregon without all the others. Just my humble opinion.

To Sierra Tahoe Bigfoot Research: I took the comment off where Anon said he found the information on Bill Emery in six minutes: his business and address. He was using the ease of finding him to prove that the man exists! But we don't want to make it easy for anyone to contact Mr. Emery.

I have thought long and hard on this complex issue about bigfoot. As some might know I'm a logger with a business. I don't want anymore area in this state to be closed because of bogus claims by environmental groups that bigfoot needs more land protected. As some might know Oregon is literally overgrown with forest. Many of the areas that bigfoot inhabit are now closed to all logging such as the Siskiyous here in Coos and Curry counties because of the Northern Spotted Owl. I am very aware that some will try to use bigfoot as a tool for even more closures. The bigfoot has lived here for untold years and I find no reason why they should be harmed by the logging industry if common good sense practices are used. What it comes down to is bigfoot doesnt want anything to do with people. They are simply out there like they always were. People need to understand these beings are very rare and do not pose a threat to humans if understood and left alone in their natural habitat. When we get one creature that doesn't behave like most of them seem to we need to put in place safeguards to protect the animal and people from each other. It's a no- brainer that we all need to respect these bigfoot like the grizzly bear and other animals in the wild. What I want is for the government to quit lying to the public about bigfoot. When these beings are seen its always the same with the way folks are treated. The laughs and jokes need to stop when people report this strange animal. People deserve the respect do them and government needs to get the message that people will no longer put up with the lies. Just think how many people in the past have reported bigfoot and found themslves at the end of the rope. It must stop.
