Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

Watching and waiting ...

It has been 13 days, Aug. 8, since the ESP Team "captured" on trail cams photos of bigfoot. Ballyhoo has decided to put this day count up so that the readers can have an easy way to tell how long it has been. It, of course, seems so much longer. Let's have fun waiting. After all, this may be the beginning of   PROVING that this being exists. And we've been in on the excitement from day one.

P.S. The ESP Team has promised to let Ballyhoo display the photos of bigfoot.

Let us know what people are saying. Share your sightings and your opinions. ... Linda Newton-Perry

It does seem longer than only 13 days. Now I know why patience is considered a virtue.

Generally speaking there seems to be a wait and see attitude in Internet land. An occasional innuendo of a hoax, a photo-shopped picture, but no real substance of facts of whom discovered what. Implied only. The demise of the BFF forums seems to have greatly effected the overall atmosphere BF community as fair-mindedness seems to be prevalent instead of immediate harshness. A much more wait and see attitude. Refreshing!

(Marcy, not anonymous) Thanks! The countdown post is an excellent idea. It might even help curb some of the more insistent comments. I also appreciate getting to read your newspaper column. And the photos of the Oregon woods are like a story in themselves. They make waiting cheerfully easier.

If anybody out there would like to share some of the negativity about ESP please write a comment with the website please. We have found nowhere that directly said Emery Saxton and Parchell were anything other than what they are, Bigfoot researchers.
