As a police officer I am damn glad that this is going to be exposed. A lot of us are tired of being too frightened to tell or report the sightings we have. I know the Curry cop and can tell you this has had a profound affect on his life.
Along with the many law enforcement officers, we too see bigfoot while at work in the brush. The current status of the law in Oregon stinks because it shuts us up. Nobody should have to go through that type of harassment over something like this.
On top of the embarrassment, we get by having to see a shrink, we hear the supervisors' laughs and thoughts that we're suffering from white line fever. I know what I saw, it was not a bear on two legs. Still I had to lie to the state psychologist to return to duty. This does not sit well with many of us.
We stop people every day and ask them to be truthful with us, while here we are lying to the shrink because that's the only way they'll let us return to work.
We appreciate your opinion so very much. Thank you. Can you tell us a little about your sighting?
