Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

"I'm Not Telling Anyone I Saw a Red Sasquatch!"

Drawing by Linda Newton-Perry
This drawing reminded me of one of my "A Matter of Time" newspaper columns I wrote in 2008. It's about a red Bigfoot. I'll write just the portion having to do with the red Bigfoot.
2007 Deschutes County, Sighting
I'm again using information from the http://www.bigfootencounters.com/ website for this week's column. Deschutes County is northeast of Douglas and in central Oregon, across from Lane County.
So, it isn't far from Douglas County, and should be of interest to the readers of this column. As last week, I'll write the sighting in my own words.
The person who saw the Sasquatch is an employee of USGS and was out checking seismic equipment. He had stopped to store some gear. While drinking bottled water, a movement caught his eye on the mountain road ahead of him.
There before him, a big hairy "man" had stepped onto the road. They locked eyes briefly and next the animal walked off into the woods.
Where the Sasquatch left the road and had to duck under a limb required the animal to be at least 10 feet tall.
This report was put on the above website by one that was told this story by the USGS (article didn't say what these letters mean) employee.
When asked if he'd reported it he laughed and said more or less in these words, "No way, I'm not telling anyone I saw a Red Sasquatch!"
He described the color of the animal's fur/hair to be red to reddish brown.

Talking Bigfoot, "Against Policy"

by Dale Saxton

What we got here, Linda, is the State of Oregon along with the federal government withholding vital information from its citizens. Kind a like 911. We probably don't know all about what happened that day.

I and every other bigfoot investigator have had the roadblocks thrown up many times.

It's all about money.

If bigfoot were proved to be real, as I believe it already has, some people would freak out over the fact that an unknown beast or animal or monster is stalking the woods.

Politicians don't like anything they can't tax. As for the OSP and other agencies their policy is to deny and try to put a lid on it.

Like UFOs, hundreds of thousands have seen them but they don't exist to the government.

Many police will OFF THE RECORD tell you they simply can't talk about it because it's against policy.

Why Are We Not Allowed to Report Bigfoot and be Taken Seriously?

Dale Saxton, can you tell us more about this muffling of Bigfoot sightings by the police? What their reasons are etc. I assume you can do that without getting us all in trouble.
And, if you can't just ignore this. I appreciate your contribution to this blog too much to upset you, or get you in some sort of trouble.
Thank you,
Linda Newton-Perry
