Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

A Recent Photo of Squaw Lake, Oregon
Thank you, BT (Blue Truck)
This is the same lake that the Hamilton family reported their sighting.
Watch for Bigfoot in Logged off Areas!
(I don't know where this photo was taken.) Here in Douglas County, Oregon, many sightings have taken place in logged off areas. This last spring/summer a couple watched as an animal scrubbed its back on a tree and then walked off into the forest on two legs!
Share your forest photos. I want this site to be beautiful as well as informative.
Buck Hamilton's answer to the question, Did you believe in Bigfoot before this happened? (Family left campsite, because wife saw a Bigfoot-type animal.)

No, I thought it was just a story the Indians told around their campfires.

You know the funny thing is, when we went to report it, the ranger took us into his office and listened to my wife tell him what had happened.

He sat there quietly and then asked, "Mrs Hamilton, do you think it was standing up?

She told him all she'd seen. He said they would investigate and get back to us.

One week later, we got a call from him and he said they didn't find anything. He told her not to feel bad because there had been other people that reported strange sounds and also there was damage down at the trash cans. He said the trash cans were crushed and thrown into the lake about 60 feet out from the bank!

"Not vandals," he said.

Buck Hamilton's Comment:
(Sorry these were out of order.)

Sounds like something my wife and I ran across while camping at Squaw Lake in the Siskiyous [Oregon] on 7-2008. We were camping with our 3 children and were having a blast with them. I was at camp making supper when my wife and little girl came back to the camp screaming that something on the other side of the lake was looking out from behind a tree at them.

My wife was white as snow. I asked her what it was and she said "I don't know. It's very big and dark looking."

First thing came to mind was a bear. I told them all to stay at camp. I went to look and didn't see anything. My wife pulled me off away from the kids and said we were not staying here for the night.

I said, "Are you kidding me? Why?"

She said that what ever it was was watching the kids throwing rocks in the lake. She insisted , so we packed up and took them home. They were all very upset.

My wife said she heard a whistle sound and looked over and saw it standing behind a big fir. There was nobody else camping there.

Spot Where a Possible Bigfoot was Sighted

Guest Editor-Blogger LB

This photo was taken at Squaw Lake. Mr. Hamilton did make a complete report out with the Forest Service in Powers, Oregon. If you can look across the lake and see the old snags the big leaning tree is where Mrs. Hamilton saw the dark form.

I do believer her. She told me what ever it was had to be 9 feet or higher and big enough that she could see it standing in back of the tree.

I measured the tree at 67 inches wide at 6 feet up from the ground.
