"Stunning" Things I've Seen
by Dale Saxton
(The article was on the comments of Dale's earlier article. I thought everyone would like to read it.)
A few of the "stunning" things I have seen while looking at reported sightings include these: Once, I found at a track site where something had picked up a plastic outhouse and carried it over 200 feet, and then threw it over a bank, with no skid marks on the ground from dragging it.
Another time, I found where an old rotted tree weighing over 1,000 pounds had been put across an old dirt road to block it. The only mark was 15 inch tracks from whatever put it there.
A lady told me once that she watched a large creature picking apples off a tree on her rural property. After walking over a mile into the woods, I found where something had piled up the apples and covered them with a large branch.
These things cannot be explained by any known animal. Bears don't pick up logs. Elk don't collect apples, pile and cover them. Cougars don't pick up toilets and dump them over banks.
These are a few things that I've seen while looking into sightings.
