Announcement: Bigfoot Ballyhoo has been under attack, in the past, by a couple of people who wished Ballyhoo and its editors to look as if they were hoaxing information.

One of the biggest examples would be the claim that we made up the ESP Team, Bill Emery, Cole Saxton and the late Hank Parchell. A well-known bigfoot researcher found photos that looked like Emery, Saxton and Parchell. He claimed the three to be the real men and not any part of the ESP Team. (In fact, he claimed there was no ESP Team).

And then while the Emery Team was processing trail cam photos a couple were sent to Ballyhoo. These photos turned out to be well-known bigfoot photos, one from a movie and one of Patty. The technician’s son that was processing the trail cam photos replaced the real photos with fakes. In good faith Emery sent the dallied-with photos to Ballyhoo. When it was found out what happened it was explained.

Another photo of a footprint with a believable history was given Ballyhoo to post. Turned out to be Tim Fasano’s photo from Florida. Again, we’ve given explanations for each occurrence. We were hoaxed.

We in time recognized each hoax and explained what happened

A Bigfoot Hoax, but Still the Real Thing!

The Bigfoot Field Reporter has post on the West Coast Investigation.

A bit of tomfoolery (a hoax) but in the end no harm to a sighting witnessed by several people.

Sighting took place in July, on Hwy 20 in the Eddyville/Chitwood area of Oregon.

Why I Believe in Bigfoot

From the newspaper column, "A Matter of Time!" by Linda Newton-Perry

Why do I believe in Bigfoot? Hm... Well, let me think. If I had not seen for myself little horses with wide black stripes, seen photos of colorful birds no bigger than the end of my thunb, then I guess if you were simply to tell me about them, I may not believe that they exist either.
I haven't seen Bigfoot, but, I do believe the animal exists. Especially since the Internet has it been easy for those that have had a sighting to report it and before that, not so easy. And now with the price of unmanned camera systems becoming more affordable, speculation is we can expect some good clear photos of the animal.

It has been reported that Bigfoot/Sasquatch visits campsites when the campers are not there. So set up a camera aimed at your site. You may be the one to get that photo that proves Bigfoot/Sasquatch exists.

It may surprise you that the Great Lakes region and the Appalachians have had in the recent past, as many credible sightings as the Pacific Northwest. Sightings in the Pacific Northwest have been in writing for at least 150 years and unwritten for much longer.

I know a man locally who saw a Bigfoot/Sasquatch when he was a boy. I, for the life of me can't understand why one would make up a story about such an animal. What would be the point? I would love to hear what you think.

Lat week I listed a Bigfoot/Sasquatch researcher's long list of qualifications. You may wonder why I did that. It seems some believe that not many "professionals" are involved in getting the straight of Bigfoot/Sasquatch. On the BFRO (www.bfro.net/) website you can find a list of at least thirty, many PhDs.

Why do I believe? Why not? The world is full of beasts and dragons, what's one more?

Problems With A Good, Clear Photo

Photo: Linda Newton-Perry

I've drawn a rough Bigfoot into this photo*. It seems the animal is well designed for its environment. and so it is difficult to see him.

*Click on the photo to see a larger version. You can see the Bigfoot better. He is sitting in the sand.

Blogger Larry Surface lives in Ohio and is searching for proof of Bigfoot, full time. In his new post, "2009" he explains the difficulty he's experiencing in his efforts. If you are or would like to search for Bigfoot, this blog may help; since it's better to be informed of the problems you may encounter with your "proof." The scientific community has its guidelines and it seems there is no getting around them.
